Chapter 12 (Forgive Me?)

Draco's POV

After accepting Harry's friendship many things happened in just the matter of weeks. Fonce for example has been a transfer student of Hogwarts and is now one of Draco's bestfriends and also one of his roommate, pretty crazy right?! Avery also hangs out with Draco now for "research purposes" and visiting Draco's familiar which has been popular with the girls lately. He also found out that Harry was the living prophecy the book had mentioned, he asked Avery about it but she said that he'll just have to protect the raven haired at all times like what's written on the book. Why would he have to protect Harry? I mean he is the future saviour of the Wizarding World after all, the one who was going to defeat the Dark Lord so why does he need Draco, it might be actually the opposite cause Draco would be the one needing Harry.

So speaking of the Golden boy their relationship was finally good, better actually. No more rude comments about each other just a couple of conversations once in a while and Draco was more than contented. Pansy was also coming out next week after Hermione told her friends about her sexuality and her relationship with Pansy. As expected Harry supported Hermione and her decisions and Ron surprisingly agreed.

Draco avoided the stares of his fellow Slytherin's who was angry about his friendship with Harry, they still couldn't believe that the scarhead Draco's nemesis would be his friend. If Draco had thought of it earlier he would likely be admitted to St.Mungo's but you know things changed and they just have to accept the fact Draco was finally happy now. Draco finally reached the library and was searching for a certain green eyed boy until he saw him with Hermione and Ron chatting with each other. Draco had planned apologizing to Harry's friends to finally have a normal school year without rivalry. He was afraid on what will their reactions would be and just imagining it he thought of backing out. He caught Harry's gaze encouraging him to sit with them but he only stood in front of them as Ron glared at him

"What are you doing here Malfoy?!" Ron hissed grabbing his wand about to hex the blonde but Harry stopped him. "It's ok Ron he's not here to cause troubles." Harry explained as the red haired lower his wand but still glared at Draco. Hermione gave the blonde a small smile as she closed the book that she is reading. "So Draco what can we do for you today?" Draco was startled when his name was called, did Granger really called me by my name? I must be imaginaning things. He thought then plucked up the courage to finally speak.

"I just wanted to apologize about my past behaviors,I admit that I was really rude and a total brat for picking on you these past few years. I'm so sorry I hope you can forgive me." Draco can feel the stares of the trio on him and he just wanted to grab an invisibility cloak to disappear.

"After all you've done you think we would forgive you," Ron scoffed and continued, "You have to prove yourself worthy of our forgiveness before that happened Malfoy." Ron spat bitterly ignoring the glare he was getting from his two friends.

"Its okay Draco I forgive you, I know that you've been going through a lot so its fine." Finally someone understands!! Draco thought giving the brown haired a little smile. "But Hermione what about the things he put us through you aren't gonna let it all slip out, right Harry." Ron debated, "Leave it out Ron, Draco changed okay I think that we should act mature about this and not hold a grudge on him forever." Ron scoffed and stood up leaving the library angry at his friends for trusting a snake.

"Its ok Draco he always acts like that don't worry he'll warm up to you soon." Hermione comforted Draco as the blonde sat besides Harry. "I hope so," he muttered as the raven haired patted his back.

Ron's POV

I can't believe they really forgive that git!! After what he has done, its not fair that blasted ferret will pay. Ron thought as he stomped through the halls angry and upset. He really didn't like Malfoy sticking to his friends like a leech that he was after all he has done. The blonde even apologized for Merlin's sake, that was very un-malfoyish of him to do that and the fact that his friends believed the ferret only made him madder.

"Oh is little Weasley sad because his friends are not with him." Blaised mocked and Ron frowned. "Sod off Zabini!! " Ron hissed and continued walking until he felt the boy follow him. "What are you gonna do about it ginger princess, gonna hex me with your broken wand." Blaise teased as the red haired stopped and scowled at him drawing his wand. "Bloody hell I will, Stupefy!!" Blaise felt the hex surge into his body as he landed on the ground, frowning he quickly cast a hex at Ron for revenge. "Flipendo," Blaise smirked as the red haired meets the ground making a cute "Ow" as the dark haired approached him. "Not very strong without your friends aren't you ginger princess." Ron emitted a growl and tackled Blaise. "You picked the wrong time to fight me Zabini!! I'm gonna rip your bloody head off!!" When Ron attempted to punch Blaise the dark haired took the opportunity to switch their position now with Ron underneath him. The dark haired caught a faint blush of the red hair's cheeks and couldn't help but chuckle.

"Boys what is going on here?" An unimpressed Professor. Magonagall sternly spoke as the two boys quickly got off their awkward position and glared daggers at each other.

"He started it Professor!!" Ron accused Blaise as the dark haired rolls his eyes. "-15 points for Slytherin and Gryffindor." "But Proffesor!!" Ron complained but was interrupted by the Professor. "Detention both of you after lunch make another trouble again or I'll have a talk with your parents personally." Proffesor. Magonagall warned and walked off leaving an angry Ron and an amused Blaise.
