Chapter 14 (My Princess)

Harry's POV

Harry waited patiently outside Draco's dorm and sat nervously  avoiding the stares from the three Slytherins who was in the same room (Slytherin common room) as him waiting for Draco to come out. The awkward silence was broke by Fonce's deep husky voice which made Harry flinch. He (Fonce) was still a stranger to Harry so of course he would be scared. Although he was one of Draco's friends for just a couple of months, they have been pretty close to each other. Not that Harry was jealous, nope not happening...

'Maybe the stranger was one of Draco's close friend on another school and just decided to transfer here ,' he thought.

"So Potter what is your intention when you befriended Draco." Fonce asked focusing his gaze on Harry.

"Pardon?" Harry was caught of guard by the question and didn't know how to answer it.

"I said, what is your intention befriending Draco?" The red eyed repeated when he noticed Harry's nervousness.

"U-um I befriended Draco because I want to give him a second chance, I was guilty when I rejected his friendship in 1st year so I thought it would be better when we become friends... Or more than that." He whispered the last part but because of Fonce's sharp senses he heard him and smirked lightly.

"We know that Draco confessed to you Potter so if you ever hurt his feelings, which you already did when you rejected him I'll shove your stupid head on your arse!! ." Pansy angrily spat as Blaise tried to calm her down from hexing the raven haired that was obviously horrified because of her words.

"We don't blame you about the incident today but please be careful with your actions. I know that there's eyes everywhere so don't act impulsively especially when you're with Draco. He is already broken inside Potter so if you're here just to break him again it'll be best if you just stay away from him." Blaise spoke seriously and the raven haired stared at the trio boldly oblivious that Draco was listening to their conversation behind his door.

"I promise to protect him at all costs and I swear that I'll never break him. Besides he already has a special place in my heart." Harry blushed at the last sentence, his words made the three Slytherins smile and teased him for being so cheesy.

Their laughter was soon interrupted when the door from Draco's room creaked, making the Slytherins and Harry turn their attention to Draco.

The said blonde came out with puffy red eyes, faced flushed from crying (and also from Harry's words) and and adorable pout. Harry's heart quickened seeing Draco, 'How can someone be still cute when crying?!' He asked himself. His thoughts was suddenly interrupted when Pansy and Blaise attacked Draco with a bear hug asking if he was okay while Fonce just patted the blonde on the back.

Draco's POV

When Blaise and Pansy finally decided to let Draco breathe he finally noticed Harry who was awkwardly standing looking down guiltily. Draco frowned, 'Why is he making that look when its obviously my fault,' he thought.

"Ha-harry can we talk..." Draco murmured but loud enough for Harry to hear as he hesitantly meet Draco's gaze and slowly nodded. Taking it as a cue the trio silently left the Slytherin common room leaving two boys who was awkwardly avoiding each others gaze, not sure on who's gonna speak first to break the awkward silence that surrounds them.

"Um may-maybe we should t-talk in my ro-room." Draco stuttered silently scolding himself for being so shy in front of the raven haired. Harry nodded and followed Draco to his room which he shares with Blaise, Crabbe and Goyle. He sat in his bed grabbing his fluffy green pillow and stared at Harry.

"Well are you just gonna stand there?"

"Oh, yeah right."

Harry slowly sat besides Draco leaving a few inches qbetween them. "Are you mad?" The raven haired asked, "What do you mean?" Draco asked raising his eyebrow. "You know what I mean Draco." Harry said seriously, slowly getting closer to the blonde. He sighed and faced the raven haired and his breath hitched. 'Oh Merlin how can I answer that question if your gonna be so damn sexy when you're serious! (Sirius)' he mentally screamed hiding his now flushed face from Harry.

"I'm fine Harry, just a little bit upset but I'm fine." He answered looking down. Draco knew he was lying to himself, he knew that this event shattered him but he lied, he lied because he doesn't want to be Harry's problem. He lied because he himself thought he was fine, that he was sane enough to face the issue. But Draco wasn't fine at all, Merlin he just wanted to be normal for once but he just ruins everything. Draco won't be even surprised if Harry says to stay away from him, that all the sweet words he heard back there was all lies. Lies that he wished was true.

"Stop lying to me Draco, If you're blaming yourself for this just remember that its not your fault. So don't just cry alone, I'm here you know... If you need a shoulder to cry on just run to me. You're not alone Draco, I'm always here for you." Harry genuinely spoke as Draco started to tear up again. Harry embraced the crying boy in his arms as Draco sobbed harder into Harry's chest. The raven haired gently comforts Draco by intertwining his hand with the blonde and kissing Draco's forehead.

"Shh stop crying princess its okay." Harry joked as he felt weak punches on his chest. "I'm not a princess yah jerk." Draco said as soft cute giggles escaped his lips. "But you're my princess." Harry replied slighty blushing after he realized what he had said. "I'm not yours idiot." Draco murmured hiding his red cheeks on Harry's chest. The raven haired leaned on Draco's ears gently nipping the soft skin as he heard a cute gasp from the blonde. "Oh don't worry you will." Harry whispered on Draco's ear not knowing his words effect on the blushing blonde.
