Chapter 8 (Draco's Perfume)

Draco's POV

Do you know what it feels like to be rejected? Well I have the answer for you, it feels like shit, especially when you like that person for years and that he misunderstood you everytime you say that he's handsome. For example,

"Looking good Potter,"

"Sod off Malfoy!!"

See what I mean people that's why for the past weeks I've been an actual dementor, I can't even focus on classes especially Potions cause I have that class with Potter. The git thought that I didn't notice that he's skipping all the classes that I'm in. He scoffed, stupid Potter with his stupid green eyes and stupid luscious black locks. Draco slammed his head on the Slytherin table gaining attention from the crowd of Slytherin's that was now looking at him.

"What are you looking at sod off!!" He hissed and the students just resumed on what they are doing. "Somebody's not in a good mood today." Zabini eyed Draco and Pansy, this two brats is hiding something from him the past week they have been acting suspicious lately but they didn't want to answer his pleas so he would just figure it out on his own. "Shove off Blaise I'm not in the mood to deal with other's shits today." He frowned ignoring his breakfast and stood up leaving the great hall and his friends, noting the concerned gaze of Potter on him. Tssk I don't need your pity Potter, he thought then headed to his first class, Potions.

The room was empty obviously cause he still has 45 minutes till the classes start. "Good morning Professor." He greeted then sat on his seat ignoring the glare of his teacher. "Having a bad day Draco?" Snape resumed on what he's doing as Draco groaned. Severus Snape might not be the nicest person of the bunch but for Draco he is the best godfather that he ever had. If Draco needs some advice his godfather was always there to help him, that's also the reason why he has an obvious favoritism on Draco.

"I'm alright godfather, just have to deal with lots of essays." Snape eyed him knowing that the blonde was obviously lying. He stirred the potion for the last time as the liquid turned a bright pink. "Tell me is this about Potter again." He chuckled silently as the said boy twitched at the name. "If you already know it why do you have to ask in the first place godfather." A thud was heard when Draco slammed his head on the table, again. He can't even lie to his godfather knowing that he figured out Draco's little crush on Harry all by himself. Although Snape didn't agree about Draco's secret saying that he can have a crush on anyone but not Potter, eventually he gave up promising to Draco to keep his little secret safe and just gave a few advice on the blonde.

"I'm just making sure, tell me Draco what make you like that arrogant boy?" There was a minute of silence until Draco broke the ice, "At first I don't really know what make me like him, but after been each other's throats for years I finally figured that out. He's very caring and protective to his friends especially Granger and Weasley. He also has this strange behavior to make stupid decisions then apologizes after realizing that it was a stupid idea. Also... He's very blunt to people around him especially the people he hates, he's really honest about his feelings and barely lied about it. For him hate and love are the same thing so if he hates you he'll tell you in a nice way without being rude and if he likes you he'll let you know." A deep shade of red spreads into Draco's cheeks as he spoke those words. For the love of Salazar Slytherin that was very mushy and cringy, he couldn't believe he blurt out all of those stuff to his godfather it will be embarrassing even horrible when his father hear about this. Draco was preparing himself for his godfather's reaction but unexpectedly nothing came instead the soft giggles of Lavender Brown and Padma Patil was heard outside the room and the once silent place was filled with noisy Gryffindors and cunning Slytherins. His alone time with his godfather was ruined because two annoying Gryffindors decided to get to class early, oh great he was expecting for his godfather's reaction and the two rats just have to interrupt their conversation.

Harry's POV

"Shit shit shit I'm late for Potions," Harry panted tired from running, bloody hell he thought that it was a good idea to go back to his dorm after breakfast and take a nap. Unfortunately he overslept, all eyes was glued to him when he entered the class as Professor Snape glared daggers at him with a straight face. Is that even possible? Well its Snape so...

"Sorry I'm late Professor I overslept."

" -10 points for Gryffindor, make sure to wake up early Mr. Potter or you'll have detention on the Forbidden Forest. " He winced at the cold voice and looked around finding an empty seat which was beside Draco. Oh great what did I do to deserve this, he reluctantly sat besides the blonde who was obviously nervous despite of his stoic expression. The raven haired stared blanky at the cauldron staring at the pink bubbles that emerged from it as Draco stirred the liquid. "So what are we doing today?" Harry asked as he stared at the blonde's silver eyes then back to the cauldron. "Since you decided to show up late you'll be testing the Amortentia."

"This is a love potion right?"

"Yes you nincompoop now smell it I don't have all day." Draco obviously irritated glared at Harry as the said boy followed the blonde's orders.

"So what do you smell?"

"Ummmh I smell apples uhhhhh hair gel, did you bathed yourself with your perfume today because its all over the place."

"What?! No you scarhead my perfume run out last week and I'm not wearing any perfume."

Realization hits Harry and his face turned a dark shade of red avoiding the gaze of the blonde. Did he just unintentionally admitted that he liked Draco too!! No no no he must be mistaken he doesn't like the blonde, maybe Draco poured his perfume into the potion so it smells like that. Although he couldn't admit that his feelings for Draco drastically changed deep inside him knew that he was slowly falling for his enemy.

Should I continue this chapter with Draco being a tsundere or Harry being sexually frustrated and accidentally kisses Draco?

NAH I think not the next chapter will be thickening the plot cause I want to. Maybe some new characters and a love rival lmao I love angst :).
