Chapter 21 (Pinky Promise)

Draco's POV

Tears filled Draco's eyes as he dropped the letter that he was holding. "No! I won't let that bastard near my father!" Draco shouted angry, "He doesn't deserve this at all godfather! I know that he was forced to take the Dark Mark but it was because he wanted to protect us! " Draco breaks down as he cried on his godfather's chest. Snape tried his best to comfort the boy as Dumbledore sighed. "Don't worry Draco I already contacted the Aurors to investigate outside the Malfoy Manor." Dumbledore spoke,

"But they couldn't do anything headmaster! No one knows what Voldemort's up to and I don't want my father to suffer because of that bastard!"

"Now,now Draco the Aurors are doing their best to rescue your father. But because Voldemort is there we must take precautions." Snape replied handing Draco a calming draught which the latter drank in a few gulps.

"If you'll excuse us headmaster we will leave now."

"Take Draco directly to Harry Severus, we won't lose our saviour in this situation. We still have a prophecy to fulfil, am I right Draco?" Dumbledore asked as his eyes twinkled, Draco just nodded as Snape took him to the school's clinic where Harry was peacefully lying along with the other students in the clinic. Hermione and Pansy sat at Harry's left side while Ron and Blaise sat on the right side.

"Is he alright?" Draco asked as Snape dismissed himself not wanting to deal with noisy students. "He's alright Draco Madam Pomfrey said he just need proper rest and-." Pansy said and Hermione interrupted.

"No Pansy rest isn't gonna make Harry fine. He's just seen someone die in front of his own eyes and even thinking about how he couldn't do anything to save Cedric will ruin him. He's basically traumatized about it, so we need to be by his side all the time. We don't know what is inside Harry's thoughts but we can help him ease the pain even just a little bit." Hermione lays her head on Pansy's shoulder after she finished her sentence.

Draco walked towards Harry and stared at his lover that was peacefully sleeping. He sighed as he intertwined his hands with the raven haired, he kissed Harry's forehead. "What has he done to you love?" Draco whispered, "I'll make sure that he will never lays a finger on you again. I'll protect you from everything that dares to hurt you, so please wake up for me love." Draco didn't even notice that he was crying until a warm hand wiped his tear stained cheek. "That's so sweet of you Dray." Harry lightly chuckled as Draco's eyes lit up and hugged Harry tightly.

"Mate you're awake!" Ron exclaimed as he caught the attention of Pansy, Hermione and Blaise.

"Harry are you alright?" Hermione asked, "Yeah I'm okay." Harry simply answered, "Guys can you please leave me and Draco alone... I have to talk to him about something." Harry whispered the last part but was heard by Hermione, they just nodded and dragged Ron who was about to hug Harry.

"Hey! I didn't even hugged him yet!" Ron's screams was heard until the 4 left and closed the door. Harry chuckled at Ron's antics as Draco sat on a chair beside him.

"So what do you want to talk about?" Draco started,

"It's about your father Draco..." Draco stiffened when Harry mentioned his father's name, Harry noticed this so he gently cupped Draco's face. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing just continue," Harry knew that something was wrong with Draco but decided to just shrugged it off.

"Your father Draco he's there when Voldemort tortured me... I didn't know that your father was a death eater but I know that he's not a bad person, so I wanted to know the real reason on how he got the Dark Mark. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, I just wanted to know."

"No Harry its ok you deserve to know." Draco took a deep breath then started explaining to Harry about how his father was forced to take the Dark Mark.

The clinic was silently peaceful and only the sound of Harry's soft snores can be heard. Draco decided to stay with Harry although the raven haired insisted that he can go sleep in his dorm. Draco's was suddenly awaken by Harry's soft whimpers. Beads of sweat appeared on Harry's face as Draco shook Harry to wake him up. The raven haired was having a bad dream and Draco didn't know how to stop it, Harry's whimpers turned into screams as Draco finally woke him up. Harry catches his breath but he was trembling and slightly dazed.

"Harry are you alright?" Draco asked but Harry stayed silent. He tried to hold Harry's hand but the raven haired shove his hand away and hid on his blanket. "D-dont touch m-me please it hu-hurts." Harry stuttered, his eyes lost it usual color as he hugged his knees.

"Harry its me Draco, come on love tell me what's wrong?"

"Dr-draco I'm scared he sai-said that he was going t-to kill you." Harry stuttered sobbing in his blanket. Draco climbed on Harry's bed as he hugged the sobbing boy who jolted but eventually calmed on Draco's arms. Draco whispered sweet nothing's into Harry's ears and giving light kisses on Harry's face. "He's not going to do anything to me love, we're safe here as long as we're together. It's just a dream okay I'm here with you and I'm not gonna leave you, I love you Harry." Draco pecked Harry's lips as the raven haired blushed. "Promise me you won't leave." Harry held out his pinky finger which looks cute to Draco. "Promise," Draco laced his own pinky finger with Harry's as a soft smile appeared on Harry's face. "I love you too Draco now seal our promise with a kiss." Draco chuckled at Harry's cuteness, "As you wish princess." Harry giggled and Draco softly kissed Harry's soft lips. It was just a soft kiss, no tongues just a sweet innocent kiss showing their love for each other.
