Sayori's eyes landed on Natsuki's small, thin frame from across the room, and she felt her face began to heat up. For quite a long time, she'd had a crush on the harsh pinkette. But she'd never tell anyone that. Not Monika, not Yuri, and most certainly not Natsuki.

Her eyes began to cloud over as she fantasized her perfect ending with Natsuki. The shorter girl would walk up one day, and yell about how she didn't like her that much. Then, they'd kiss, and hug, and cuddle, and watch movies until 3 in the morning...

She snapped out of her trance as Natsuki cleared her throat near the front of the room. She had a tray wrapped in tinfoil resting on one of the desks not being used, one corner in her hand ready to be pulled off.

"Hey, everyone! I made--"

"Cupcakes!" She shamelessly cut Natsuki off, charging to the front of the room as Natsuki took the foil off. She instantly snatched one of the sweet pastries, peeling away the cute-looking cup and cramming it into her mouth.

Natsuki snickered, averting her gaze. "Jeez, Sayori! Calm down, the cupcake isn't going anywhere."

She pulled the food away from her icing-stained face, chuckling nervously and looking away. "I'm sorry..." She apologized. "But your cupcakes are so good I just couldn't resist!"

For just a short moment, she swore she could see Natsuki's cute little cheeks pinken. But before she could confirm this, she jammed her thumb into her chest and looked up pridefully. "Yeah! I do make really good--"

Her self-absorbed speech was cut off by Sayori throwing her arms around her and hugging tightly. "Thank you, thank you, thank you~" she chirped, happiness evident in her voice.

"Uwah--" Natsuki gasped, before pulling away. Her face was unmistakably red this time. "B-be careful!" She snapped, crossing her arms angrily and looking away. "You're gonna get icing in my hair or something!"

Monika and Yuri chuckled from across the room, earning a small pout from the shortest girl in the club. Sayori couldn't hold in her giggling as she snatched up another cupcake.

Turning towards the back of the room,  Sayori blushed weakly. She could feel the butterflies in her stomach once she made contact with her crush. She didn't know what to so, and she needed advice...

An idea. She turned around, ran up to Monika, and pulled on her sleeve a few times. This quickly caught her attention. "What is it, Sayori?" She asked warmly, looking up from her paperwork.

"Can I talk to you?" She asked, smiling at the leader. "In the hallway, please?"

Monika agreed, following her friend as she ran out of the club. Once the pair was outside, Sayori began to speak. "Okay, so how do you deal with a crush?" She asked nervously, looking straight into Monika's emerald eyes.

Monika started to laugh teasingly. "Ahaha, why do you ask?"

Sayori touched her lightly blushing cheek, jerking her hand down instantly afterwards. "I'm, um, asking for a friend," she lied.

The brunette snickered. "Like I haven't heard that one before.

Sayori pouted, pushing her index fingers together. "Heyyy! It's true! I'm asking for Yuri!" Wow, these lies slipped out like water when she was nervous.

Monika clicked her tongue, slowly shaking her head. "Whatever you say," she sighed, speaking afterwards. "Okay! Remember that your crush is just a person like you, and gets gradually closer to you when you spend time with him or her. So just hang out with them, and sort of pop the question when you feel the time is right!"

Dread was creeping up Sayori's throat. She ignored it by biting her lip. "Okay, thanks!" She said, placing her arms behind her back. "I'll, um tell Yuri. Uh, thanks! Bye!"

Rushing out of the awkward atmosphere in the hall, and noticing a certain girl in the closet, Sayori ran towards it.

"Uh, Natsuki?" She called uncertainly. She poked her head out of the closet curiously. "Yeah?"

She smiled. "What were you doing?"

Natsuki turned her head back to the closet, pointing over her shoulder. "I was going to get my manga..." She said, but it sounded more like a question.

Sayori's smile only got bigger. "Well, I was wondering..." She startrd, forcing herself to make the cutest face she possibly could. "Would I be able..." She started, before taking a step closer to her. "...to read with you?"

Natsuki looked at her shoes, shrugging. "I-I guess..." She said, trying to keep up her tough attitude. Sayori giggled-- that was something she really loved about her.

"Thank you!" She chirped, watching Natsuki turn back into the closet. "What are we gonna read?" She asked.

"Well," she said, rummaging around through the many contents of the closet. "We have Sweet like Sugar, Strawberry Hearts, Parfait Girls, and Summer Wishes," Natsuki said proudly, reading the titles very professionally. "Which do you wanna read?"

Sayori thought it over for a noment, considering each of the titles carefully. Finally, she glanced down at Natsuki and smiled. "I wanna read Parfait Girls!" She decided. "It sounds really cool, so...

Natsuki nodded with a grin. "I was hoping you wold choose that one. It's my favorite. As Natsuki scooped up the large box of manga (It was on the bottom shelf this time), Sayori ran to sir under the window, since it was Natsuki's favorite manga-reading spot. She'd seen her sitting there countless times, a book in her hands and a smile on her face.

Just a few seconds later, Natsuki emerged, a single book in her hand. Sayori had fair reason to assume that it was the first volume of the series.

"You are going to love this," she insisted as she got into place beside Sayori. She carefully started to open the manga, occasionally glancing at her to see if her the magic of the manga was starting to catch onto her.

Sayori really did love the manga. All of the characters were so loveable. There was a certain girl, named Alice, who reminded her of Natsuki. She was her favorite chracter.

They were nearly halfway through th3 manga when Monika's cheery voice rang oit. "Alright, everyone! Time to go home!" Sayori scooted away from Natsuki, allowing her to gently close the manga and place it in the closet.

Sayori giggled, and hugged her from behind.

She giggled as she felt Natsuki jump, and turn around, trying to see what was going on. When she noticed her,Sayori pik3d her tough out, laughed, and kissed the back of Natsuki's head. "You're adorable~" she hummed, making Natsuki blush.

"Hmph, you're an idiot..." She sighed, turning around and pecking Sayori on the lips. Sayori giggled, waiting for Natsuki to be done and then picking her up and carrying her towards the door.

"H-huh?!" Natsuki gasled, starting to struggle as Sayori ran out into the hallway with her, laughing happily. God, she was glad that all of this worked out.
