Sorry this took so long. Procrastination is the skill I'm good at.

Y/N: your name

"So, who are you going to spend the weekend with?" Monika asked.

Right now, you were looking between the three girls. Monika, Yuri, and Natsuki each wanted to have you help them out for the weekend, so they could prepare for the festival. Sayori had left the club earlier.

Your mind started to dive deeper into the subject of Sayori's absense. It was unlike her to leave club early, even if it was for her own good. One time, she got sick in the club and still had to be convinced to leave by Monika.

And during the time that she was there, she acted unlike herself. She couldn't pay attention, her eyes seemed so sad

When you looked up, Natsuki's impatient face confronted you. "Uh, hello?" She asked. "Earth to Y/N?"

"O-Oh, sorry," you stuttered, eyes flicking to the side in embarrasment. "What were we talking about?"

Natsuki groaned and Monika chuckled. Finally, Yuri spoke up. "So, have you decided who to help over the weekend?" She asked again.

You would feel horrible if you didn't check on Sayori and make sure she was okay. "Sayori..." You said, trailing off at the end of the name.

Monika's bright face fell, and Yuri stepped back in confusion. Natsuki, however, snarled. "Her?!" She snapped. "Why?!"

You looked down at her. "Um... why not...?"

Yuri lifted a finger. "I agree with Natsuki as well. Sayori left the club early, she must be quite busy. She didn't have too much of a task either, so it should be easy. Now, making decorations and such may need help... it's quite tedious..."

Natsuki snorted out laughing. "Oh, you think drawing a bunch of pretty pictures is hard?" She yelled. "Making cupcakes takes skill, patience, and making more only makes it harder!"

With a sweet giggle, Monika cut into the two. "I wouldn't mind if they helped me! I'd appreciate it just as much as you two would!"

Finally, fed up with their arguing, you loudly cleared your throat. Everyone looked at you, and you handed them a smile. "This is my choice, right?"

Monika's eyes widened in surprise, and she gave you a thumbs up. "Of course it is!" She answered. "You do what you want to do!"

Calmly, you looked between the two girls. "Then if it's my choice, I want to be the one to choose. And I choose Sayori. If anyone is going to stop me from that, they should have just stated that it wasn't my decision to make."

Yuri and Natsuki stared down at their shoes, humiliation writted on their faces, while Monika gaped. "I guess we should accept that..." the president stuttered.

You smiled at the three, before heading back to your desk. "Thank you," you said, before briskly throwing your bag over your shoulder and leaving the room. You didn't want to hurt any of their feelings, but you still needed to make sure Sayori, the girl you've known for the entirety of your life, was okay.

Soon, you were positioned in front of her door. Your hand lingered near it for a while, before you finally knocked on it.

You waited for a short period of time, before the door cracked open, revealing Sayori's small face peeping through.

You pushed the door open the rest of the way, revealing the rest of Sayori's body. "Oh, hey!" She said quietly, waving. This action made you even more confused, as Sayori's enthusiasm rarely let her be quiet.

Sayori giggled, grabbing you by the had and tugging you into her house. "So, why are you here?" Sayori asked. "It's not like I don't enjoy your company, I'm just wondering."

You nodded at her. "I understand. Also, you just kinda left us and you don't look very sick, so I just wondered..."

"Ohhhh! That!" Sayori sighed out. She gave an upbeat smile. Something wasn't right with that smile, but you couldn't place your finger on it. "Sometimes, we all just need a break from all the activity... right?"

A sigh escaped from you, and you took Sayori's hand and led her to the couch. After sitting her down, you proceeded to sit down beside her and talk.

"Look, Sayori. You NEVER just want a break from the club. Monika needed to force you out once. So tell me the truth."

Sayori's eyes widened. "Geez..." She said to herself, looking at her lap. "Am a really that obvious?"

Instantly, you shook your head. "Not at all!" You answered. "But after knowing you for all these years, I think I can read you like a book."

For just a moment, all you could see were Sayori's big, ocean-blue eyes. They were so innocent and pure, and you wondered how anything could be so perfect.

But the moment was over quickly, and Sayori pulled back, looking off to the side with what looked like an unhappy expression plastered against her face.

"Um..." Sayori's confession got cut off by her nerves, and she finally huffed out a sigh. "Will it be okay if I'm not ready to fully admit this?" She asked, looking up. The anxiety in her eyes made your heart break.

You wrapped your arms around Sayori, gently patting her back. "That's fine. Not everyone can just confess something at the drop of a hat."

"Yeah..."

After a second, you pulled away. Sayori looked up with a small smile.

"I think all I wanna say for now..." She said, taking your hands in hers, "...is that I just need a cuddle buddy!"

You felt your face heating up. The idea of cuddling Sayori seemed almost strange, seeing as how long you'd been friends for. However, cuddling with Sayori seemed like a dream come true...

You leaned into Sayori, and she cuddled into your body, squeaking in joy. "Yay!" She cheered out and you couldn't help but laugh. Sayori acted just like a kid sometimes.

Sayori hopped on your lap, patting your head. "I didn't think you'd actually do it..." She said, looking slightly confused.

You leaned forwards, planting a small kiss on her forehead. "Sayori, you're, like, everything to me. I'd spend the world with you if I could."

With a red face, Sayori smiled up at you.

"Thank you!"
