I walk down the hall, kind of scared of what the coordinator's going to be like. All around me there's noise. But, instead of the noise being loud and obnoxious, all the sounds are soothing and melodic. I slowly drag my feet down the stark white hallway. Finally we reach a black door.

"Here it is! Good luck!" Lily says, then she and Orion leave, so I'm all alone.

  Click. I turn the knob.
"Come in," I hear a familiar voice say. No. No way. It can't be.
I walk in the room and look at the man in front of me.
"Kesler?" My voice is meek. I sound like a a mouse.
"Hi Sophie. What a nice surprise. Come, sit down." He responds, smiling, showing off his dimples, just like his son.
I slowly walk over to the chair in front of his desk, too shocked to form words. "How-why-what-when-" I can't even spit out a full sentence.
"How: I reached out to the founder
Why: because I'm sick and tired of the way this world is.
What: Do I really have to answer that?
When: well, after Juline revealed that she was part of the Blackswan I decided that I could be part of an organization too. Does that answer all your questions?" He responds happily.
"Just barely. " I answer, finding my real voice. "What did you want to see me for? And what are you wearing a blue shirt and grey shorts? You're not an unclaimed are you?!" My last sentence is full of surprise. He can't be an unclaimed, can he? This is crazy.
"Yes, Sophie. I have a hidden ability. Would you like me to show you it?" He asks.
I'm too shocked, so I just nod my head.
" Okay. Here we go," he says, rubbing his hands together for effect. His feet start disappearing, but instead of staying still, like normal vanishers, the feet transport themselves to the other side of the room. I watch in shock as his whole body travels, disappearing piece by piece. When he finally arrives at the other side of the room I just stare at him, not exactly sane. I look at the clock on the wall. Doing that whole thing took one minute. That's crazy fast.
As if reading my thoughts he says,"I could go faster, but I wanted you to understand what I was doing. Do you get my talent now?"
I look at him and smile. He reminds me so much of Dex.
"Yeah, it's like light-leaping, but without using a pathfinder. Is that right? Also why'd you call me into your office again?" I ask.
"Right! Well, first I wanted to show you my talent, second," he says, opening a drawer in his desk and pulling out a package, "I would like you to give this to the BlackSwan. I want to join up with them. Well, our organization wants to form an alliance with them." He smiles and hands me the brown package. It kind of looks like one of the report cards I used to get in my human life. Blank and boring, but you know that  what's inside is extremely important and life-changing.

"Wait! My new ability, is that an ability from the unapproved organization?" I ask, scared of what the answer may be.

"Uh, we could get to that another day," he says, avoiding the question, a guilty look in his eye.

"Okay?'' I say, slightly upset that he can't tell me what my power means to this organization.

"Here," I say, handing the package to mr. Forkle, watching him as he rips open the package. His eyes go wide. He looks at me, scared. I've never seen mr. Forkle  like this before, and it's making me scared.

  "You have another ability?"

So? What do you think this means? After all, the BlackSwan were the ones who made her, so how could they not know about this? *EYEBROW LIFT*
