Very very short chapter. But major feels... Well for me, anyway.
Enjoy! 💕
He left today. I didn't see him.
Because I can't see him without bursting into tears.
I decide to visit Evelyn.
We didn't exactly get along when we first met, but ever since she moved in and out with Tobias, we have.
Her apartment is 2E.
I take the stairs, jumping down two at a time.
I knock on her door, "Evelyn?"
She's like my second mother now.
"Hello, Beatrice," she says as she opens it. I'm okay that she calls me Beatrice.
"I think I made a huge mistake," I say, sitting down next to Evelyn.
She holds out a plate of cookies. I take one gratefully, and thank her.
"What's that?" she asks kindly.
Evelyn has been like a whole different person after she chose Tobias.
"I left him for his own good!" Tears are brimming in my eyes.
"Why?" Evelyn is gentle and kind. If she were like she was before, she'd chop my head off.
"He's cute enough to get the attention of a celebrity!" I'm crying. "He doesn't deserve me! He deserves much better."
Evelyn stays quiet and hands me a tissue. When I throw it out, she speaks.
"Have you thought about how much he loves you?"
"He can't," I whisper. "Not me. Even Christina is better than me."
"Tobias doesn't want Christina, Beatrice. He wants you."
"Why?" Goosebumps are forming on my arms.
"Cause he loves you."
I realize I'm still wearing the promise ring. I twirl it around my finger.
"Thanks Evelyn," I say, standing up. "I'm going to fix this. I'll fix it somehow."
What do you think her plan is? Comment what you think!
~(•.•~) (~•.•)~
^ I know what it is and you don't 😝 ^
What do you think about Evelyn being kind (for once)? I felt like I should make Evelyn nice cause well...
