*Leah's POV*
When I wake up, Louis's arms are still tightly wrapped around me and my cheek is pressed up against his chest. His hot breath tickles the back of my neck and his one hand is laced with mine. I look up at him, expecting him to be sleeping but his eyes are open, staring at the blue wall across from him.
Without saying a word, he shakes his head and mumbles, "I'm fine."
I draw little circles on his chest with my hand and he closes his eyes, his breaths are slow and deep.
"Do you love Charlie?" He asks of me and I shoot my head up to look at him.
"What? Of course not why would you think that?"
"Charlie told me you did. He told me that.." He trails off, shaking his head and I clench my fists together.
That asshole.
"When did he tell you this?" I lift my head up so he is forced to look at me.
He doesn't say anything, Charlie told him last night. This is how it all started.
"I don't love him, and I never slept with him. Never. I never really had feelings for him Louis. This is horrible of me but I used him, I used him to try to get my memory back. I was a horrible person but I was testing myself and I never intended it to go that far," I try to explain to him but he just stares ahead, not turning to look at me.
"I didn't think it was fair to you," I continue, "that you were in a relationship with me and you remembered everything and I didn't. I needed time too, but I fell in love with you again even without the memories," I whisper to him and he closes his eyes before speaking.
"Do you honestly remember everything?" He quietly asks.
"Yes," the words lingers on my lips.
Before I could think, he's lips brush against mine as he carefully folds them against mine. I push myself up so he can wrap his arms around my torso. He picks me up, pulling me onto his lap with both my legs planted beside each of his sides.
I caress his cheeks with my palms and the ends of my fingertips gently run through the hair behind his ears like I always used to do. I move my hands up in his hair as I lace them through the messy mop on top of his head, his lips move against mine ever so softly as he protectively holds onto me like someone may take me away.
I didn't notice he was crying until his tears hit my cheeks as he pulls me in closer to him. I slightly move my head back to ask if he was alright but his lips reconnect with mine for one last kiss before his bloodshot eyes open up to look at me.
"Are you still going to marry me?" His voice cracks as more small tears escape down his cheeks. I hold both sides of his face in my hands and I rest my forehead against his. I kiss his nose.
"Of course I will still marry you," I whisper to him and a small smile is played on his lips before he starts to sob again.
"Hey it's okay baby," I reassure him, wiping his tears was with my thumbs. He closes his eyes and shakes his head.
"No, I'm so sorry you had to see that last night," he cries, covering his face with his hands.
"Lou, just stop. It's all over," I wrap my arms around him.
