Kimora's POV

I sat in the chair, blood pouring from my mouth and nose. I could feel the dry saltiness of my tears on my cheeks but couldn't move a muscle. I felt nothing; all sense of feelings were gone. I could see that my legs were bleeding but couldn't feel the pain. It was like I wasn't in my body anymore, that I became lifeless. I was so tired that whenever someone came in, they were nothing but a shadowy figure. They would talk, but I couldn't process anything. I felt my head being lifted, and light was flashed into my eyes. After time to adjust, there stood two figures. They look to be arguing over something. Then one grabbed onto the drip that was connected to my arm. The needle was taken out, and once again, my face was lifted to see Jeremy. He spoke to me, but I just didn't hear them. He smiled wickedly, and I just shifted my eyes. Then I was thrown to the floor. My body felt as if every bone shattered due to the impact. I could feel the cold floor seeping through my skin but didn't move. 'He finally got his wish. To see both of us died.'

Jaehwa's POV

We infiltrated the building, all men ready. We found the passageway that led down to the old factory and made our route. As we ventured down, two men guarded the hallway; both seemed very absent-minded and unaware of our presence. As they turned around, two of our men, easily jump them, knocking them out unconscious. We continued with our route, checking every door and hallway to ensure that we could easily get through. I saw the light at the end of the hallway and could hear yelling from two males. Standing out of sight, we watched the events play out. A man, possibly the Killer, repeatedly kicking Kimora's body. His final blow was to her face as she flipped around to face us. I had to hold my body from striking that moment, as I saw her face. Her left eye was swollen shut. Dry blood coated every inch of her beaten face. She suddenly coughed, and blood dripped from her mouth. Another male approached her and wiped her face.

"You idiot. Didn't you want her alive?"

"I did, but now she's pissing me off. I just wanted the perfect last photo, and she had to act all high and mighty. So now she looks like that."

I pulled up my walkie-talkie to my lips.

"All units hold positions. There are two suspects in the room."

"Outside perimeter is clear. Awaiting the call on your signal."

"I'm moving in."

I made my way to a small walkway that suspended over them. I walked slowly over the catwalk, keeping an eye on their every move. They had placed Diamond back in a chair, where they inserted a needle into her arm. She winced and cried out. Then one of the suspects grabbed her face and lifted it to look at him. That was when we made eye contact.

"What are you looking for? No one is going g to find you. Not even your silly little boyfriend, Jay."

"Go to hell, you fucking Bastard!"

Kimora threw her head forward, connecting her forehead to the guy's nose. I quickly made my way across and down the see the next events unfold. The man threw a hit after hit to her already swollen face. Then stood up to kick her in the gut, sending the small metal chair flying back—the other man, quick to pick her up and place her back in front of the assaulter.

"You just don't learn, do you."

I took my chance and ran to a crate closer to them. As I settled in my spot, I could hear Diamond laughing. She laughed so hard and with such venom that I didn't even recolonize her voice.

"You were so close. You had me, and you blew it. It took you this long to lose your prize. Pathetic."

"YOU SHUT THE HELL UP, YOU BITCH!"
