"Lizzie, can you just put your seatbelt back on? We'll find your phone when we get there."

"Hold on, I almost got it. Just give me a second." She told Chris as she bent over the center console, reaching into the backseat to grab her phone.

"Lizzie-"

"Chris, I got-"

Everything happened so fast and before Lizzie could grab her phone, glass was shattering all around her as she was thrown from the collision.

"Lizzie, come on. Look at me. I just need to look at me." Chris begged, grabbing onto Lizzie's bloody hand. And it wasn't for her harsh breathing he wouldn't have even been sure she was alive.

All Chris could was the blood and glass covering her limp body. She'd taken the worst of the crash and she'd been thrown onto the ground, where she now laid on her stomach.

"Lizzie, please. Just look at me."

Chris was shocked when he felt a squeeze to his hand and his eyes met her green eyes. They were barely open but he'd never been more relieved.

"Hey, you're gonna be ok."

"Scar-" Her eyes teared up as she choked out that one word, the one word that Chris could understand and he knew exactly what she meant.

"Do you want me to call Scarlett?"

She barely nodded.

"I'll call her, ok? As soon as I can I will, I promise."
