"Lizzie, I'm gonna need you to sit down before you hurt yourself." Chris told the swaying woman as he guided her into a booth with Eliza and Jade.

"But I don't wanna sit down." She pouted, her words slurring together.

"I know, but you've had too much and so have these two so we're just gonna sit here for a minute."

Lizzie practically fell into him in an attempt to get back up, "Chris-"

"I don't wanna hear it. I'm not about to lose you in this mob of people."

"No, I don't care. Where'd Scar go?" She questioned, the world spun as she scanned the crowded bar for her wife.

"She just went to get some food with Jeremy, she'll be back in a second."

Chris wasn't expecting his words to cause tears to spring in the girl's eyes, "Liz, what's wrong?" He asked, worry bubbling in his chest, "Hey, just talk to me."

Jade and Eliza hadn't noticed anything different with their friend, too drunk and giggly to pay attention.

"She's gonna leave me." Lizzie's voice was quiet, tears spilling from her eyes as she avoided looking at Chris. "She's gonna leave me, Chris."

"Lizzie, she's not gonna leave you. Why would you even think that?" He asked, his hand reaching for her chin, pulling her face so he could see her, "She loves you."

"B-But what i-if it's not enough? Wh-what if I'm not enough for her?" Lizzie sobbed, her body shaking as she cried.

"Lizzie-"

"Who wants mozzarella sticks?" Jeremy shouted as he set the platter of food down on the table, Jade and Eliza being the only ones to jump at the offer, "Chris, I left you with the drunks for five minutes? What the hell happened?"

Chris shook his head before turning to Lizzie who hadn't stopped crying, "Liz, do you wanna go outside for a minute?"

Lizzie nodded, she could use the fresh air, it was too hot and stuffy in here. She could barely breathe with everything going on around her.

"Can you tell Scarlett to come find us outside whenever she gets back?"

"Yeah, I got it."

"Come on, Liz." Chris offered his hand to the stumbling woman, pulling her from the booth and holding onto her as he guided her out of the bar. He sat her down on the edge of the sidewalk, taking a seat next to her.

The two sat in a comfortable silence, Chris's arm wrapped around her shoulders, holding her while she cried. "She's not gonna leave you, Liz."

"But what if she does? I left her before so what's to stop her from-"

"Baby, what's wrong?" Scarlett questioned, concerned as she took a seat on the other side of her wife. Chris shot her a sympathetic smile as he patted Lizzie shoulder before heading back inside.

"I left you."

Scarlett sighed, "Lizzie-"

"Are you gonna leave me?"

The tears and the pout hurt to see, Scarlett hadn't seen Lizzie this upset in a long time.

"Lizzie, I'm not gonna leave you. I love you, ok? I love you so much." Lizzie sobbed harder, her tears seeming never ending, "I'm not gonna leave you and nothing is ever gonna change that. Can you please stop crying? Babe, you're making me sad."

"Sorry."

"Come here." Scarlett held her arms out, waiting for the brunette to hug her. "Let's get you home, baby."
