Lizzie had done everything to make sure the kids weren't going to get sunburned or dehydrated but had almost completely forgot that she could also be effected by the hot sun. But even as she felt a headache coming on, she didn't think anything of it.
"Babe, why are you so hot?" Scarlett had asked after placing her arm around her wife while they waited in line for a ride, out of the sun.
"Um, I don't know. What kind of question is that?" Lizzie asked, cocking an eyebrow at the blonde.
"No, you feel really hot."
"Oh, do I?" Lizzie questioned, pressing her own hand to her shoulder. She was hot, really hot.
"Are you sure you're fine?"
"I don't know, my head kinda hurts but that's it."

Lizzie should've gone back to Chris's house earlier. She should've left before she felt this bad, but they were trying to have fun and she didn't want to be the one to ruin it.Chris had been the one to realize something wasn't right when Lizzie practically fell into him after getting off one of the rides. He'd held onto her, keeping her still for a second.
"Lizzie, we need to sit you down." He told her, she just nodded, weakly holding onto him in an attempt to keep herself upright. "You're not looking so good."
"You ok, babe?" Scarlett joined the two, Jeremy following behind her with Ava, Rose and Lily.
She really didn't even need to ask, she could tell just by looking at Lizzie that she clearly wasn't fine.
"We need to get her in some shade before she passes out." Chris told her, his arm still wrapped around Lizzie's waist to keep her upright.
Scarlett nodded, "You get her to some shade and we'll find some water and ice or whatever's gonna help."

"You should've told us you didn't feel good earlier." Scarlett scolded as she held an ice pack to Lizzie's neck."It was just a headache." Lizzie muttered, her words quiet with her fatigue. She couldn't see straight, the world spinning when she moved. She'd thrown up twice already, cancelling out all the water they were making her drink.
"I know, but we could've stopped it from getting this bad earlier."
"Scar, we can stay with the kids if you wanna just take her home."
