"Mama!" Lizzie groaned as her youngest daughter called out for her at 3am.

"Babe-"

Lizzie pushed her wife's hand away, "I got it, honey. She wants me."

"Honey, what's wrong?"

"Mama, I don't feel good." Lily muttered, her hands covering her mouth.

Within seconds Lizzie was picking up the four year old, holding her out in front of her as she ran down the hallway to the bathroom.

"Lizzie, what are you doing?" Scarletts half awake figure appeared in the doorway of their room as she watched everything unfold in front of her.

"I don't wanna be cleaning puke off the floor!" Lizzie called back, setting lily down in front of the toilet just in time for her to throw up.

After getting Lily medicine and getting her tucked back into bed, Lizzie headed back for her own bed.

"Babe, you're burning up." Scarlett had muttered to her wife a few hours later after waking to the heat radiating off of Lizzie.

Lizzie shook her head, her teeth chattering as she pulled the blankets tighter around her, "What are you talking about? It's freezing."

"Lizzie, I think you have a fever."

Lizzie shook her head again, "No, I'm just cold."

"Babe, me and Rose were sick and now Lily's sick, so it only makes sense that you would get sick too."

Lizzie wasn't listening as she buried herself further into the blankets, "I'm not sick, I'm just cold."

Lizzie wouldn't accept the fact that she was sick until she was throwing up five minutes later.

"Still not sick?"

Lizzie rolled her eyes, "Shut up."
