"Ugh, I just want to be normal again." Lizzie groaned in frustration. "This shouldn't be that hard."
"I know it's frustrating, but you have to be patient. You went through two major surgeries and one was brain surgery so it's gonna take a lot for you to be back to normal." Scarlett explained, but she knew what she said wasn't going to help. Lizzie had been stuck in this hospital for a month already and she'd been making progress that was too slow for her.
"That doesn't make this any less annoying."
"I know, honey, but you'll be out of here and back to normal soon enough. So just be patient with yourself, please."
"Fine." Lizzie grumbled as she held onto Scarlett's arm as they made slow laps around the floor they were on.
"Lizzie, would you slow down, you're gonna rip your stitches." Scarlett warned, "That's probably the last thing we need right now."
