The Dawn's crew was awaken in the middle of the night by BB8's panicked beeps. The little droid was madly rolling around the ship, being sure that no one was staying in bed. Dante was the first to show up, holding his blaster firmly in his hand.

"What is it?"

BB8 bustled around even more and the old pilot frowned before holding out his hand towards the droid, nodding slowly.

"Alright, alright. Keep waking everyone, I'll take care of Ly'ra."

The droid went on faster while the mercenary went to knock on the young woman's door. She opened it a second later, adjusting her belt quickly.

"What's wrong?"

"We're here."

Her gaze suddenly grew dark and she nodded slowly, running a hand in her dark curls.

"Alright... Everyone should be ready and at their posts within the next five seconds."

Without waiting for a confirmation, she headed towards the cockpit where Poe was staring on a point in front of the ship.

"I thought you must be warned... We're reaching... Oh it's... It's nice your hair... Like this..."

Ly'ra arched a brow hearing his commentary but decided to ignore it, choosing to focus on what they had in front of them.

"I know... If you don't mind Commander, I think I should be the pilot this time."

Dameron stood up quickly, rolling his eyes at his own foolishness and gave up his seat so the young woman could take his place. She slid between him and the dashboard. Contrary to Poe, she didn't pay attention to this sudden closeness, too focused on what was coming closer.

"Sorry..."

"It's the Hollastin Run..."

Noticing the absence of reaction from Dameron, she sighed and was about to go on when the pilot interrumpted her.

"... It's one of the branching hyperlane in Hutt Space. It's just as dangerous as the planets surrounding it. We'll probably have visitors any time soon..."

The young womand arched a brow, a small smirk appearing on her lips as she nodded. The two pilots took their places, put on their headsets and adjusted their microphones. BB8 joined them few seconds later. Ly'ra disconnected the autopilot and took a hold of the ship soflty, carefully entering the Run. Few ships and fighters flew by them without stopping and several minutes went by, letting them think that, contrary to their first idea, the end of their journey would be as quiet as the beginning. But, just when all the crew was starting to relax, a violent hit on the ship made them all jump.

"What the... What was that?!"

In their headsets, Jay's voice was crackling.

"They're trying to push us out of the Run..."

Poe shook his head before activating the energy field.

"They don't want us out. They want to stop us to steal the ware. Or the ship."

Ly'ra couldn't hold back a laugh and glanced at her copilot.

"You're a quick learner Commander Flawless! You're right, except that I'd more bet on stealing the ship as we don't have any ware..."

"But they don't know that. What do you think Captain? Ready to send them to Hell?"

"I like the idea."

Without saying anything more, the young woman swerved the Dawn, pushing the assailant away while Bango, being in charge of the port Quad-laser, fired, forcing the attacker to fly away.
