The one

I am a strong afternator. You can see that on my Instagram. I am following every fan club, like literally every single one that I come across. So yeah I am a low-key stalker here. While scrolling through the posts, I came across a pic of Hero with Anna and Jo. He looks dapper as usual in a black over shirt and white shirt underneath, paired with black dress pants. Styling his hair in his signature hairstyle, my boy is gawking amazing. He is not your boy anymore, my subconscious mind mocked me. This whole social media thing is doing no good to me, so I lock my phone and throw it on the bed. I went to my aunt's room and knocked on the door, which was ajar. She gestured me to come in, smiling. I told her about my visit to my school and she told me about the farm, that they are trying hard to maintain. She also apologised for the way, she did not support my career earlier and how much she wishes that she could take all that time back. She is happy and so proud of me that I did something big, out of this town. "Vani ek baat puchu?" she asked in a low voice.
(Translation- Vani, can I ask you something?)
I nodded lightly as she held my hand. "Tu itne time se bahaar hai, ekdum akele. Tujhe koi ladka pasand nahi aaya?" she asked looking straight in my eyes.
(Translation- You have been living away there alone, for a while now. Have you not come across any boy, you like?)
I looked away from her gaze, and shook my head looking down. There is no way I can lie to her looking at her eye to eye. She raised my chin up. "Aisa toh ho nahi sakta ki meri itni pyari aur sundar si Vani ko kisi ne pasand na kiya ho" she smiled and I tried to do the same but failed miserably.
(Translation- It is not possible that no boy has ever fallen for my lovely and beautiful Vani) "Vani? Tujhe koi pasand hai waha?" she asked again and I shook my head. Talking to her heart to heart, now seems a bad idea. I muster courage and finally speak "Maasi mein waha doston ke saath rehti hu aur kaam bhi itna zyada hai ki inn sab ke liye time nahi milta".
(Translation- Aunty, I live their with my friends and there is so much work pressure that I don't have time for all this)
"Phir bhi, mein maan hi nahi sakti ki tujhe kisi ne pasand na kiya ho" she said holding my hand again.
(Translation- Still I won't believe that no boy has ever liked you)
"Tujhe pata hai, woh Rehan aaya tha na, uski abhi naukri lagi hai America mei, shayad wahi jaha tu rehti hai" she said and moved closer to me.
(Translation- Do you know that boy who came that day,Rehan? He has got a job there where you live)
Now I am getting where this discussion is going and I have to get out of this situation fast. "Ok" I said plainly. "He is a good boy, I have seen him since childhood. I think you should meet him and help him in understanding the place" she said and I moved away a bit. "Maasi I will help him, once he is there. Uh.... I think I should go now. You need to rest." I said and turned to walk out. "Vani?" she called out and I stopped on my way. "Just because you haven't found the right guy, doesn't mean you will never find one" she said and I closed the door behind me.
The moment I reach my room, tears start brimming in my eyes. I want to tell her that I did like someone. I did fall for someone. It's just that the person I love, doesn't love me. And no matter, how stupid this may sound but I don't want anyone. Anyone but Hero. Even if he is not the one for me, I still love him and only him.
