It was pretty late but you could still hear the party going on. Loki sat next to you, mesmerized by the T.V.

"That party really is a party, isn't it? It's been going on for awhile." You said.

"Our parties can last up to two weeks. Sometimes more."

You nodded your head. The music was pretty loud, even though they had no speakers. You were sure that Darcy was having the time of her life with Fandral. Who knew those two would be a good pair?

You started to lose your trail of thought, starting to think about your ex.

His name was Andrew, and he had bright blonde hair, a muscular build, and honey brown eyes. Yes, he was really hot.

You remembered the good times you had with him. You remembered when you thought you were going to marry him. When you thought that he was the love of your life.

You felt Loki touch your shoulder and only then did you realize you were crying.

"Are you alright?..I'm not really good with comforting people...uh.. why are you crying? Maybe you need to pay more attention to the show."

You shook your head and wiped your eyes. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be breaking down like this. I was thinking about my ex."

Loki sighed. You felt him get up off the bed.

Great. He abandoned you.

You shut your eyes and felt the tears roll down your cheeks. You were alone. So you let out a sob.

You didn't care. You wanted to just let it all go. You sobbed alittle louder.

You wanted to get Darcy but you didn't want to ruin her night.

The only person you had was the young prince, who obviously didn't want to deal with you since he left.

Why would he? You couldn't help but to feel disappointed. You didn't know why you half thought Loki would pity you.

Then you felt a hand touch yours. It was soft and bigger than yours and alittle cold.

You looked up and he stood there.

He stood there looking at you with a sad smile.

Loki was there the whole time.

"Maybe you should forget about what you claim to make you feel better." He said, gesturing towards the T.V. "And instead, use my way to feel better."

He got you up and dabbed at your eyes, taking off the make up that was running down from your eyes and cheeks.

"There you go. As if you never shed a tear in the first place. Now.." Loki took you by your waist with one arm and took your hand by the other, positioning you to dance.

He danced gracefully with no flaws. You had alittle trouble at first but then got used to it.

You laughed a little when you stepped on his foot.

"I'm so sorry! How clumsy of me!"

But all Loki did was chuckle. "Oh, it's all right. Barely felt a thing."

He looked at you and smiled.
