Yoongi sighed and rubbed his eyes. He'd had a long day full of meetings, shoots, and scheduling, and each thing had left him more and more exhausted. Standing up from his chair, he began to pack his camera and laptop away. He had more work that needed completing at home.
His cell phone buzzed with a new message. Pulling it out of the pocket of his slacks, he glanced at who had sent it. A slight grin spread across his face as he read the message from his older brother.
Hyung: I'm in Seoul for the weekend. Bring Sophie and let's get chicken and beer at the place in your neighborhood
Yoongi shook his head in amusement before replying. His brother had a spontaneity that he envied.
I'll be there in 20 minutes. Order the chicken for us
And lots of beerYoongi finished gathering his things and ambled over to Sophie's cubicle. He frowned and furrowed his brow when he saw her exhausted state. She had an even more hectic day than he had and it showed. Her hair had fallen from its usual neat style and dark circles were under her usually bright eyes.
When he cleared his throat she looked up from the papers she'd been gathering. Despite her tiredness, she managed to smile, a trait she was well-known for.
"Are you leaving for the night, Yoongi? Make sure to rest up and don't do any other work until you've had dinner," Sophie's tone was sweet, but commanding. It reminded Yoongi of a sister, which was fitting. The pair had grown as close as siblings. Sophie was an only child, and Yoongi was the closest thing to a brother she'd ever had.
"I was leaving, but Geum Jae text me and told me to meet him for chicken and beer."
"That's even better! Make sure to relax and eat well! But if I find out you even tried to get behind a steering wheel while drunk I'll make sure you don't drink any alcohol until the next full moon!" Sophie smiled teasingly, but Yoongi knew the was a note of seriousness in her words as well. Drunk driving was no joke to Sophie.
"Sophie, you've had a long and stressful day too. My brother invited you along, and I think you should come. I don't like how tired you've been looking. I know you never go out, so you should come and have a nice time." Yoongi kept his tone casual, but he couldn't keep the worried edge out of his eyes. He watched as Sophie looked down at her desk space and deliberated. She was a bit of a workaholic, like him, and she often stayed late into the night.
Of course, it didn't help that she lived alone and didn't have anyone to go on nights out with.
Yoongi hoped that soon he could introduce Jinae to Sophie. He hoped that the two would become good friends.
Now though, his concern was making sure Sophie to kill herself with her heavy workload.
"I'll come! I need to get out more anyway. Besides, it'll be nice to spend time with a Min who has a good sense of humor," she finished with a sly smile and began packing her own things away. Yoongi celebrated inwardly, glad that she'd accepted the offer. Outwardly, he feigned offense and shook his head.
"Hey! You spend time with a humorous Min all the time! Hyung is not funnier than I am!"
Sophie just smiled and led the way out of the office.

The bar wasn't crowded because it was a Tuesday night, and Yoongi quickly found his brother in their favorite corner booth. In a few moments, both he and Sophie had joined him."Hyung, you didn't tell me you were coming!" Yoongi's tone was animated and his smile wide as he embraced his elder brother. His brother's enthusiasm was equally welcoming.
"I wanted to surprise you! And besides, if I'd told you then I would have had to make you clear your schedule. Just showing up ensures that you come of your own accord. Besides, you've been busy lately and I didn't want to add to your stress." Yoongi nodded in understanding, he had to admit that his older brother was right. "Sophie! It's so good to see you again. But, you also look much too tired. I think you've both been working too hard," Geum Jae greeted Sophie with a slight edge of a lecture in his words. Sophie began to utter excuses when Geum Jae shook his head violently. "Let's just sit and eat, yes? You two must be starving." Both Yoongi and Sophie agreed and sat down.
It didn't take long for the trio to dig in.
The conversation stayed pleasant and light during the first round of chicken and beer, but as they began to relax, Geum Jae prepared to say what had been on his mind since the dinner Jinae's mother had hosted.
It was the reason he'd come to Seoul and the reason he'd invited Yoongi and Sophie out. He had something he needed to tell Yoongi, and he knew Sophie would back him up.
Geum Jae emptied his glass and set it down, he took a deep breath and dived in, not one to beat around the bush.
"Yoongi, you need to marry Jinae," his words cut through the clinking of glasses on the table and the sounds of hungry eating, stopping both Yoongi and Sophie in their tracks. Yoongi coughed on the swig of beer he'd taken and Sophie froze midway into taking a bite of her chicken wing.
"Wh- what, Hyung?"
"You need to some fooling around and marry Jinae, Yoongi."
