Chapter 13

        Every night ay tinatabihan ni Luke si Aj hanggang sa makatulog ito at saka pa lang siya lalabas ng kwarto. Si Camille naman ay inaasikaso ang mga paperwork na kailangan ng Daddy niya. Gusto na niyang matapos kaagad dahil gusto na niyang makabalik sa States. Inspite of what had happened between her and Luke, hindi niya pwedeng lokohin ang sarili niya na wala na siyang naramdaman para kay Luke.Whenever  he is touching her or beside her, she couldn't trust her body not to react. Maybe this was mistake coming here. Masayado na ring napapalapit ang loob ng anak niya sa kay Luke.

  Nagising si Camille nang narinig niyang umiiyak si Aj. Tiningnan niya ang oras. 1 in the morning. Binuhat niya ito."Shhhh.....it's okay baby, it's okay,"sabi niya at sinayaw sayaw ang anak pero ayaw huminto ng kakaiyak.

  Kumatok si Tita Elise at binuksan ang pinto." What's wrong with Aj, Elle?"tanong nito,

    "Hindi ko ng alam, Mommy eh.Bigla na lang nagising at umiyak?"sabi ni Camille na niyuygyog ang anak pero lalo lang lumakas ang iyak nito.

    " Let me try,"sabi ni Mommy Elise at kinuha si Aj. Sinayaw sayaw ito pero ayaw pa rin tumigil ng kakaiyak.Tiningan ni Mommy Elise ang tiyan kung may kabag pero wala naman daw." Baby, what's wrong?." she said softly to Aj.  Aj just kept on crying.

     Pumasok si Luke sa kwarto."What wrong, Mom, Elle?"tanong ni Luke na halatang nagising din sa iyak ng anak

  " Iyak ng iyak eh."sabi ni  Tita Elise still  holding Aj. Sinilip ni Camille ang diaper. Hind naman basa.

     Kinuha ni Luke si Aj from his mom."What's wrong with my baby,"sabi nito, held him tight and started humming. Hinahaplos nito ang buhok ng anak. Unti unting kumalma si Aj and put his arm around his neck hanggang sa tumahan ito and close his eyes.

  Ngumiti si Tita Elise." He's looking for Daddy. Nasanay yata na katabi ka. Baka nagising at hinanap ka. He missed you scent. You probably should sleep here with them Luke or he'll start crying again when he wakes up na wala ka sa tabi."simpleng sabi nito. She went to Aj kissed him while Luke is holding him and went to the door." Good nite." Close the door to the bedroom.

  Camille was standing not knowing what to do while Luke went to the bed and lie down with Aj still in his arms."Babe, I think you should go to sleep. I'll keep an eye on him and make sure that he is asleep."

    Babe! Did he just call me Babe? Gustong mainis ni Camille. Now we are all sleeping in one bed? Makakatulog ba ako nito? But she went to the other side of the bed and lie down facing Luke. Nasa gitna nila si Aj. Luke was stroking Aj's hair but looking at her. She stared at him but then had to close her eyes. She felt uncomfortable with the way Luke was looking at her. She had her eyes close but her mind was running hundred miles an hour. This is a complication. She racked her brains on how she can tell Tita Elise that Aj and her needed to go back to her house.

    " Babe, Stu and company wanted to invite you to his bar. He wants to brag about it. Marami na kasing improvement eh.Nag promise ka daw that you will so naniningil daw siya," ni Luke at dinner." They have been bugging me. Magtatampo daw sila if you say no."

  Bakit ba Babe ng babe na ito? Sa harap pa nina Mommy. Hindi na tuloy masaway not to call her that.

  " Why don't you and Luke go, Elle?"sabi ni Tito Andrew." Don't worry about Aj. We can watch him. Expert na kami, di ba Mommy."

     " Yeah, go out. You guys have fun. Kami na ang bahala kay Aj. When is it?"tanong ni Elle.

  " I can call them after dinner. I'm sure they will be ecstatic," ni Luke." It has rooms for private party and karaoke for those who love to sing."

   " Lu, go ahead and call Ollie,"sabi ni tita Elise.

     " Are you sure Mom?"tanong ni Luke sa Mommy niya." I mean, we could........."

  Pinandilatan ito ng mommy niya. "Yes, I am sure I can handle Aj. If I can handle you when you were little, I can handle Aj. He is an angel compared to you."

He smiled sheepishly and Camille had to smile. Tapang talaga ni Mommy!

        This is the first time that Camille had to dress up again. She was wearing a black backless Sequin Halter neck Dress.

       She made a mistake of telling Rochelle na wala siyang dalang damit for it. Sinamahan siyang magshopping nito for a dress. Nong una ay ayaw ni  Camille ang damit na ito.

  "Chelly, this is too sexy,"sabi ni Camille." Too revealing for my taste now."

    Nagpamiwang ang kapatid." Ate,even though you had Aj, you are still sexy as hell. I want you flaunt it in Kuya Luke's face para makita niya kung ano ang pinakawalan niya,"sabi nito." Tingnan natin kung di sa maglaway sa'yo nito."

      " Mag laway huh!" sabi ni Camille na tumatawa." Ginawa mo pa siyang aswang. I don't want that to happen because that would be trouble." Tumawa na rin si Rochelle." Hey, seriously. Paano kung magkabalikan kami, what will you do? How do you feel about it?"

  "May laman ang tanong na yan ah," she looked at her suspiciously." Ate, I love Kuya Luke, you know that. But he made you cry, kaya masama rin ang loob ko sa kanya. But if you get back together because you guys are still in love with each other, that's kinda romantic. What I am saying is, if you are happy,I'm happy. I just don't want him to hurt you again. You deserve to be happy, Ate."sagot nito

    " Love, love talaga ako ng sister ko. I'm so touched?'"sabi ni Camille and hugged her sister.

        She smiled and said," Remember that when my birthday comes, okay?" and they laughed.
