Pag-uwi ni Camille ng bahay ay binigay niya si Aj na nakatulog sa yaya para ipasok ito sa kwarto. " Chelly, Chelly," tawag nito sa kapatid niya. Her heart is pounding right now. Ngayon lang siya nakahinga ng maluwag.

      Dumungaw ang kapatid mula sa second floor ng bahay nila."Ate Elle naman. What is going on?,"sabi nito."Makatawag ka naman eh sobra,"reklamo nito na napangiwi at nakapamewang pa.

     " I saw Luke today," was all she said. Nanlaki ang mata ng kapatid at dali dali itong bumaba ng hagdanan. Sa pagmamadali nito ay muntik ng mahulog. Lumapit agad ito sa kay Camille na nakatayo sa paanan ng winding stairs nila.

     " What happened? Where did you guys meet?"Rochelle said breathlessly nong nasa harap na siya ng kapatid niya.

    Napaupo si Camille sa May stairs at pati na rin si Rochelle. Kinuwento ni Camille ang nangyari sa encounter nila ni Luke.

    "Are you okay?'concern na tanong ng kapatid nito.

    "I'm a little bit shaken,"sagot ni Camille" but I think I need to finish what I came here for as soon as possible and go back."

    "Whatever, you need to do. I'll help as much as I can,"sabi ni Rochelle at niyakap ang kapatid." You think tatawagan ka niya for coffee?"

     "I'm not sure. Dahil nabigla ako kanina, ni hindi ko naisip na maling number ang ibigay sa kanya. But in case na tawagan ako, di ko na lang sagutin."sabi ni Camille." Of all the places that I would see him, I never thought that I will see him a bookstore?"

    " Ate Elle, remember that you and Kuya Luke love to read books. But you are right, that is one in a million coincidence. Scary really,"sabi pa ni Rochelle.

   "Chelly, I am already shaken so no need to make me more nervous than I am now,"sabi ni Camille dito .

   " Opps.....sorry Ate,"she said sheepishly. "Kasi naman sa dinami dami ng tao sa Pinas si Kuya Lu agad ang na meet mo."

" I realized that and it was creepy, weird coincidence," sang-ayon ni Camille.

"Let's see Ate if he will call you,"Sabi ni Rochelle.

Camille sighed. " I hope not," nanlulumong Sabi ni Camille." I had to make excuse just so I could cut the meeting short."

     A week  after the meeting at the bookstore ay  tumatawag si Luke sa kanya. Mabuti na lang at may answering service ang telepono niya kaya't kung hindi niya kilala ang number ay hindi niya sinagot. Generic din ang greeting doon sa phone kaya baka isipin lang non na mali ang number na binigay niya. Nag send din ito ng  text message that Camille never opened or checked . She just pretended not seeing them and just ignored it.

     Nasa kwarto nila ni Aj si Rochelle. Nagri-ring na naman ang phone ni Camille. Hindi niya pinansin ito.

"Hindi mo ba sasagutin ang phone mo?'tanong ni Rochelle na nakaupo sa end of the bed.

" Nope,"sabi ni Camille habang nililigpit ang mga nagkalat na laruan ni Aj."Baka si Luke yan eh. He called me and left me a message inviting me for coffee or dinner but I don't feel the need to see  him again."

"What? He really did call you.",sabi ni Rochelle shaking her head." I wonder why? He saw you with Aj so alam niya ng may anak ka, unless........."

  "Chelle, bite your tongue. Please don't even say it. You are going to jinks it,"sabi ni Camille looking sternly at her sister.

   Rochelle put her hands up and made a gesture of zipping her mouth. Then raised her hand," But Ate, Kuya Luke seems relentless kasi hanggang ngayon, he never stopped calling. Have you even opened any of his message?"
