Magkatabi si Camille at Luke. Nasa head of the table si Tito Andrew and Tita Elise on the other end of the table with Aj .Tyler and Melissa were sitting in front of Luke and Camille.
"Elle, I made the paella. I didn't know I was making it for you, Lu, ask me to make some and I was wondering why? I hope you still like it" sabi ni Tita Elise smiling at her while holding Aj
"Thank you . Of course I still do. Nothing beats you Paella, Tita",sagot ni Camille while Luke is helping get some paella in her plate. Asikasong asikaso siya nito.
"Tita? Tita? ......I know it has been a while since you were here but you've called me Mommy Elise already. Nothing has changed Elle. You have always been like a daughter to us. Me and your Dad are refusing to answer to Tito or Tita. I want you to continue and call us Mom and Dad, understand?" saway nito with a stern look in her face. Her expression na ang ibig sabihin- don't cross with me.
Melissa and Tyler didn't say anything but were smiling. Alam nilang walang magagawa ang Ate Elle nila kundi ang sundin ang mommy nila. She always gets her way.
" Yes Mom" Camille said quietly.
Luke just smiled. He was super attentive sa kanya. Na-conscious tuloy si Camille. Hindi alam ni Camille what to make of all of these. It is making her a nervous wreck. Although, Luke has always been that way with her. Naisip ni Camille na baka isipin ng family nito na there is something going on between the two of them.
"Mom, can I hold Aj after dinner?"tanong ni Tyler looking at Tita Elise.
" No, me first,"sabi ni Tito Andrew with a stern expression.
Both Tyler and Melissa sighed." We will never get the chance to hold him,"sabi ni Melissa pouting. "Ate Elle, I want a play date with Aj. Can I drop by tomorrow and see him?"
" Can I see Aj tomorrow Ate? Can I drop by in your house, Ate?"tanong ni Melissa again expectanly.
" Me too, I want to come and play with him. But I'll buy him toys first before I drop by ,"sabi ni Tyler looking at Camille.
"Why don't you just stay the night here Elle? You and Aj,"suggest ni Tita Elise. She then looked at her three kids and said, "And all three of you can stay here for the night too. For once, I have all my kids here in this house."
Camille was surprised with the invitation. This is happening too fast. She was struggling on what to say. She made a mistake of looking at Tita Elise. Her eyes were pleading while she was holding Aj. She wanted to say no. Her mind says no, but her heart felt guilty. She feels so selfish if she said no to them. But can her heart take it? Will she regret if she said yes? Oh my God!
"Say yes please Ate Elle........please,"Melissa begged.
"Sleep over!!!!,"nakangiting sabi ni Tyler even before Camille said yes.
"Mom, I don't have clothes for Aj or myself......."
" Ate Elle, I can ask Chelle to prepare clothes for you and Aj and I can pick it up. I'll stop by in a store too to get him toys." offer kaagad ni Tyler smiling at her.
Oh God! They are doing tag team right now. Luke is not saying anything. Camille wont look at him. Her head is reeling. She did not expect this. Sleep here!
"Ate Elle.........."sabi din ni Tyler with a pleading look.
"Elle, is that okay with you?"tanong ni Tita Elise expectantly." We really would love for you and Aj to stay the night."
She defenses is crumbling so she smiled and just nodded her head." I-l'll call C-chelle,"sabi nito feeling dazed.
" Oh my god! This is sooo good,"sabi ni Melissa." How late can Aj stay up Ate Elle?"
" I get to sleep in my room! It's been awhile,"sabi ni Tyler na nakangiti.
" In case you are wondering,Elle. They all moved out and has their own condo now. I don't know why because this house is so big. They can definitely stay here for as long as they want,"parang nagsusumbong na sabi ni Tito Andrew.
"Dad, it's because we want to learn how to become independent,"sagot naman ni Melissa."Para naman matuto kami."
Tito Andrew was shaking his head as if saying I don't understand it but I guess. Camille smiled.
"Elle, you and Aj can stay in Lu's old room,"biglang sabi ni Tita Elise," Ty, just share the room with Lu."
Luke's old room! She used to spend a lot of time in Luke's room. God! She really doesn't want to sleep in that room, in his bed, his old bed. It will just bring memories she doesn't want. Doesn't want or refused to think about? Why? Am i scared that after all these years his scent remains in that room and she will remember all the things they have shared? she asked herself.
Camille's thought was interrupted when Luke spoke. " Mom, I think Aj is trying to reach for your food,"sabi ni Luke na nakitang inaabot ng anak ang pagkain na nasa plate ng lola niya.
Napatinging ito sa apo." What do you want? Want to eat?"tanong agad ni Tita Elise sa apo na hinahaplos ang ulo nito.
"Ask Mommy Elise for ice cream, Aj,"sabi ni Luke agad.
" Ice cream?!'tumaas ang boses ni Tita Elise." It's night time! Ice cream at night is not good or anytime. It will ruin his little baby teeth" she said as she crooned at Aj." Lisa," tawag nito sa katulong and siya namang lumabas." Magbalat ka nga ng apple and e-slice mo.Tapos dalhin mo dito"

Camille and Aj ended up staying the night.Napagod si Aj dahil sa kalalaro kasama ang buong family ni Luke. Kinuha ng ni Tyler and extra clothes for Aj and Camille. Rochelle was as surprised as her noo he tinawag niya about the whole thing. Mga 10pm na ng nahinto ang paglalaro nila dahil pumupungay na ang mata ni Aj. Luke took him and put him to sleep in the room.
