Waking up to the sounds of beeping, Delsin opened his eyes to see the familiar white ceiling above him. He lifted his arms to rub his eyes from their tiredness, only to feel his whole body just drop from the extra weight. "What the hell?...." Delsin thought out loud. He tried to get up from his hospital bed but again, his body weight was tripled, weighing him down.

"Just what the...". 'This is your punishment for, again, disobeying my orders to push out more of Bestial Mode's power.....wow you even have me saying that horrible name!' John said. Delsin sighed in acceptance, having seen this coming from his petty mental mentor. He vaguely remembered that he was fighting Todoroki and he won but only barely.

"Well, you're finally awake" a voice said. Delsin turned his head to see Todoroki on the other side of the room, sitting up on his own hospital bed with bandages wrapped around his upper torso. "Oh....you're here too, huh?" Delsin asked, making the Icy Hot teen nod his head. "Yep, we were both transmitted into the same room. I however was awake after three hours, you were out of it for a good day....". Rowe nodded his head in acceptance, having dealt with worse but then he remembered.

"OH SHIT! THE SPORTS FESTIVAL! I MISSED MY MATCH!" He shouted, clearly upset he lost to Bakugo. "Yeah, you long missed your match with Bakugo-san. He automatically won the Sports Festival, though he's not too happy at how, winning by default is not exactly confidence boosting" Todoroki said with a small smirk, remembering Bakugo's face when he was forced to accept the 1st place medal.

"You were made 2nd while I was 3rd. They came and left a medal on your nightstand" Shoto said, pointing to his desk. "I see, thanks. Not to be rude or anything but you seem to be more....lively than before, what's brought about this change?" He asked. Todoroki turned his head to look out the window, seeing the clear blue sky with the birds chirping heavenly.

"Before fighting you and before this tournament, I was lost in rage and hatred for my father and lost sight of who I am or more like, who I wanted to be. After confronting and exchanging blows with you, those memories and goals had resurfaced, reminding me why I came here and what my goals are. Now, I'm at peace with myself and while I still resent him, I will make my father's quirk my own. I have you to thank for reminding me of that....well, you and Midoriya for telling you".

Delsin smiled. "No trouble, Shoto! I'm glad you're finally at peace with yourself. That's all I can truly hope for" he said. Todoroki nodded his head and looked out the window. "Oh, I forgot to mention to you, you had a visitor while you were unconscious. That blue haired girl.....she wasn't too pleased" He said. Delsin frowned. "Blue haired girl?......" He thought in confusion before he remembered. 'NEJIRE?! MY PROMISE! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! I'M SUCH AN IDIOT!' he thought.

He literally slumped in his bed in despair. He had broken his promise to Nejire by getting injured when he didn't need to. He got so wrapped up in winning that he completely forgot about her being in the audience, watching him get injured. Lord only knows how she felt when she of all people in the audience thought he died. He stared in the ceiling and sighed in sadness, she probably didn't want to talk to him again.

Todoroki, meanwhile, was watching outside the window to see a white bird flying on the branch, making him think. 'I should visit mother as soon as I leave. I should be released today in fact so maybe around lunch I should go. I just hope to get out soon, hopefully get away from Rowe-san here, I mean seriously, who broods anymore.....' He thought as he saw Delsin sulking and brooding in the corner at the thought of his crush, angry at him.

Time skip (Two week later)

Delsin sighed as he sunk in his desk as he waited for Aizawa to show ups so class can start. After he was released from the hospital room with Todoroki, Delsin took the week off from school, a.k.a skipping, trying to relax and chill while also secretly, working on his Neon technique. He still trained on the roof of the building, as no one would expect to look there for a teen breaking the laws in training without supervision.
