22. Difficult Decisions: Nejire's Confession

"Stupid mutt! What does he know?!" He said as he slammed his door shut in utter rage that the door nearly broke of his hinges. 'Watch it! If that door broke, you'd be paying for it!' John said. Delsin sighed as he jumped on the couch, laying on his back trying to calm down. That guy at the precinct was a total prick in his opinion.

'Well, he was just doing his job and is honest in What he truly believes in. You can't fault him for that no matter how pissed off he made you'. 'I mean.....I guess so but it's just so annoying that they keep treating us like we're useless kids that haven't fought off villains attacks before' he replied. It angered him to think that these heroes kept underestimating him and it just showed this morning when he went down to the police station.

(Flashback)

After Midoriya and the two cops entered his home, they four headed down to the police station for an unknown reason in the cop car. Thanks to Mrs. Midoriya's uncontrollable crying and pleading for her son and his friend not to serve jail time, they learned that the two were not in any trouble, at least to their knowledge which helped calm them down, especially Izuku, who was in a similar state of his mother.

Once they reached to the station, one of the officers turned to them. "You should know, your other friends have already arrived and are inside waiting for you. Key advice though, don't look at chief's face for too long. Kinda sets him off" he said as they head in. Both Izuku and Delsin exchange looks of worry but head in as they were gestured. Once inside, they followed the men inside in a quiet manner. They didn't want to attract too much attention tgen thry already did. I mean, Delsin was still in his PJ's.

And it kinda irked him, seeing as he didn't get to finish his cereal and when he gets back home, it's gonna be all soggy and gross meaning he'll have to clean it which is annoying already. To him, the day barely started and it was already starting to piss him off. The officer directed them into the room where they saw Todoroki in a blue shirt and black pajama pants and Iida in Ingenium onesie that was white and had a picture of the hero in a running pose.

Simply to say, they had all been called into this stupid thing in midst of sleeping of just waking up themselves. "Wait here, the boss will be here shortly. We know we snatched you all at breakfast so help yourself to the counter over there" they said and closed the door, leaving the four teens to themselves. Delsin quickly made a beeline to the counter and found mostly donuts but some mini sandwiches and cut up fruits.

As a normal unhealthy teen, he took the donuts first, settling on some sprinkled but also glazed ones too. Izuku meanwhile, wasn't so hungry and turned to Todoroki. "S-So....what have they c-called us here for?" He asked, still somewhat nervous. Todoroki shrugged, unsure of himself. "Beats me. I was in the middle of sleeping from last night's encounter with the demon but my sister woke me up to tell me I was being summoned by the chief of the police force. Rest is history".

Iida nodded his head. "Yes, it's most peculiar. I was in the middle of doing my usual hour run before school today but when I got home, I noticed the police cars infront my home. It turns out, I was also to be summoned by the chief". Izuku spoke next. "M-My mom was the one to o-open the door to the p-p-police men and told me that they wanted me and Delsin, who was down the hall from me, to enter the police station at once" Izuku said making Delsin wince.

He knew Izuku would be his demise. He just told Tenya where he lives! Now that boy has the address to him and can personally harass him if he missed school or something of the sort. Sighing after stuffong his fifth donut in his mouth, he spoke. "This must have something to do with Stain, no other reason". "Yes, that's correct, Rowe-San" a voice said. The young boys turned to see four people.
