27.5 I-Island Invasion Part 1: The Plan

"So over, then under and pull right?". 'Yeah, it should be the way to tie it but can't be sure...'. "Arrgghhh! I hate ties! I knew I should've gotten a clip on. At the moment, Delsin is getting ready for the reception tonight and was partially ready. He had gotten his silk white shirt and black pants and jacket. He just had to get the tie on. He knew Iida was blowing up his phone. He knew that he was supposed be down there meeting everyone at 6:30 and it's now 6:50, 10 minutes till 7 but he'll just meet them there.

Though he truly couldn't get the tie right, which was why he video called his other girlfriend, Nejire, to help him. Zeke already went down to the party, all dressed up, making Delsin look at him in a new light. He didn't want to ask Betty because she'd only embarrass him, even if there's no one in the room. "The things I go through for girls, I swear....." He said failing to tie the knot in his tie. 'Oh stop pretending you don't love us cause then you'd be lying!' Nejire laughed while lying on her bed. "I wish you were here, Nejire. It would've been so much fun, me, you and Momo" he said.

'I know, Del-kun but Ryukyu-sama needed me here. She was also invited but surprisingly, didn't want to go but wanted to stay in the city and keep things under control. I wanted to come, believe me but I couldn't. Just tell me all about it when you get back......and make sure Mo-chan doesn't pressure you into Any thing you don't wanna do! Like...like...'. "Sex? Nejire, don't be ridiculous! I don't think we're at that point in the relationship yet so no need to worry about Momo whisking me away to her room, taking advantage of me" he said, making Nejire blush.

'Well...good! So....There....I....Delsi-....breaking.......'. Nejire's connection was cutting out, breaking up as she spoke which made Delsin frowned. "Huh? That's funny. Despite all the people in the building, this is the fastest high speed internet I've ever connected to. It should be going through no problem" he said as he picked up his phone to end the call he was on and went to call her back but something appeared on his screen.

It was red emergency screen with the I-Expo logo on not only the screen of his phone but on his TV too. "This is a immediate alert message from the I-Island security system. We regret to inform you that we have received an alert that there has been a explosive device on the island. I-Island will be on High alert mode, residents and tourists should return to their lodges immediately. Anyone remaining on the street will be in violation of the law. As precaution, most of the island will be sealed off. Thank you, have a good day". Delsin frowned and started sweating in worry. "This has got to be a joke...." He muttered before moving to the window of the hotel.

He opened the drapes that were covering it only to see metal plates covering the inside of the window. "This is insane!" He said as he sat on his bed.  'Well....look on the bright side, kid. At least you don't have to go to the party' John said. 'Yeah I guess so. Still, Momo and Iida especially are probably gonna blow my ears off for not showing when I should've. Momo will definitely give me the silent treatment, I can see it now' He said as he moved to change and wait out the already annoying night but soon he heard talking in the hall of the hotel. He runs to the door, placing his ear on the door and listened for them.

"Aw man! These guns kick ass! All For One really hooked us up!" A villain shouted, loud enough to make Delsin's hair stand and John to growl. 'All For One/All For One.....' The two thought in shock but mostly anger for the latter voice. "Will you keep it down?! Boss told us to never speak of that name unless absolutely necessary! It's not gonna be a secret of you keep shouting it out through the damn hotel!" Another villain said.

"Oh relax! Once we go  through with Bosses plan, we'll blow this island to kingdom come! We locked this entire island down! No one can do anything about it, not even Hackers! We have total control and no one knew about it until we snuck up on 'em! There's no way we're losing!" Delsin frowned as he grabbed his phone. He pressed an usual app that Zeke had showed him. It was a voice synthesizer. It was one of Zeke's recent developments for the police force to help in stealth operations. Delsin, who was yet again the test dummy, had downloaded it on his phone per his request to test it. He never really got to it until now, as he knew that this might come in handy sooner or later.
