(Maia Mitchell) Anyway enjoy!! ... The man in front of me looks like he was sculpted from stone. I can see every fleck of silver in his stormy blue eyes. I can barely keep myself from looking much much lower than his eyes. He smirks, signaling he knows I'm checking him out. Damnit. I try to hide my blushing, but I fail. He snickers, but not in a mean way, more like in a playful way. But maybe I'm wrong. All I know is that it doesn't sound like my Dad's when he's trying to hurt me. It's nice. I can feel my heart leap into a thunderous rage at the thought of me making him even slightly happy. How would it feel to make him have a full blown smile? I shake my head. I barely know the guy, and after this I have to return to my dad. It doesn't matter if I make him laugh. He moves closer to my side. "Compagno." "What?" "I said my name's Cole. Cole Magnus ReLupo." (Also those words are italian if you wanna look them up re lupo are two separate words that I pushed together 😉) "Oh." We both pause. "Aren't you going to tell me your name?" I look into his brilliant eyes. I could get lost in them forever. I instantly regret looking into his eyes because soon enough, I can't look away. I feel entranced and tired. I force my hands to rub my eyes, tearing mine from his brilliant blues. My dull brown eyes can't even compare to his. He smiles kindly. I can't stop myself from smiling back. "Lyra Golden." "Any middle name?" I pause, staring at the enigma of a boy in front of me. "Lyra Sapphire Golden." He quickly whispers something under his breath and I feel renewed. "Did you feel that?" "What?" I need her middle name. Without it I can't do what I want to do. Should I just ask?
"Duh."
I roll my eyes. Stupid wolf.
"Shut it wolf."
"Fine, your loss, bud."
I feel my wolf retreat into the back of my mind. I'm just gonna go for it. What do I have to lose besides my pride? "Any middle name?" She pauses, probably thinking about how weird I seem. "Lyra Sapphire Golden." Breathtaking. Absolutely perfect for this beautiful girl. I start the small speech, mumbling so she can't hear me. "I, Cole Magnus ReLupo, accept Lyra Sapphire Golden, as my one and only, forever. I accept her as my mate." She gasps. She feels it?! Yes! Yes, yes, yes! She can feel our bond. Hell yes! I feel my wolf do a happy dance in my mind. I smile at her. Her eyes are full of life, a light, something called hope. Something she even seems surprised to feel. I wonder what broke her like this? After the spark I then realize I really should get home. But where is home? Where am I? "Where am I? I know you lied for me..." "You're just North of California, about 2 hours out." Shit. That's what I was afraid of. Barbie drove me out of Cali? What the actual hell? You know what, I'm staying here. I can make a new life without my dad and my bullies. I just hope to god that Cole lives here. Otherwise, I'm doomed.
