Lyra's POV
I run out of the room and down the hall. I can hear them trying to find me, but in their anger, they've become animalistic. I run downstairs praying that someone who can help me is close. I run into what looks like a kitchen and 5 girls and 2 boys are there. Three of the girls look like superficial brats and the other 2 look safe. I recognize the one as the Beta.
Beta...Milton? Max? I'm gonna go with Max.
"HELP!"
"Luna?"
The two boys run over to me.
"Uh..."
A growl rips through the house.
I turn to...Maximilianen?
"Oh shit."
"Oh shit's right. What happened?"
I stare.
"Let's not talk about that right now. Angry Kings."
Eros enters first, his eyes red as, well, blood. Cole's eyes are black as night.
The other guy goes over.
"Alpha, please calm down."
Cole growls at the poor guy. Max walks over to them.
"Delta Cain. Stand down."
Delta...? A hand grabs my wrist.
"Luna come with me."
The girl who was with the Beta. Are they...mates?
The other girl who was with the Delta runs over and grabs my other wrist.
"Run."
The three fakes run out of the room in their tight dresses.
I chuckle.
"Luna?"
I turn around. A surge of power flows through me.
"Alpha King Cole Magnus ReLupo. and Vampire King Eros Xander RexVampir stand down."
The power in my voice forces everyone into their knees. They all look taken back. Cole and Eros's eyes turn back to their original colors, different shades of blue.
I sigh and feel the huge surge drain from me. However, I still feel quite powerful. Everyone stands. A voice that sounds like me, but is much more powerful speaks from my mouth.
"You all need to learn to control your temper. You went off the rails over something that's in the past. And this is why your kingdoms are failing. This is why I'm your mate. I am here to bring you two closer, and you're both too wrapped up in yourselves to even see what you are doing. Maybe you should try looking at other people's pain. Because you only seem to react to mine and your own. That's selfish. And I won't stay if you continue to act like - like children. Fix yourselves."
The voice fades and only I am left in my body.
I shake my head.
"I think I was just possessed."
