I turn back to the alleyway.

Lyra's POV

Cole woke up and was taken back to his bedroom. He seemed very confused, but I can see why. He had a massive gash in his head.

I sigh. Eros has also been missing.

I don't show it much but I do care for him. I know that I could be better, but sometimes I just don't know what to say or what to do around him. While we are mates, we really aren't that close. It sucks, because I would like to be, but I know it'll never work.

He's a predator, and I'm the prey.

I'm a rabbit and he's a fox.

Always on the wrong side.

Cole is less intimidating than Eros. I feel safer around him.

But when I hugged Cole today, something had changed. He wasn't his normal self.

And I'm scared.

I'm very scared.

Cole getting hurt was obviously my fathers doing.

And he has insiders in the castle.

I have a feeling this is all going to end up going south. And fast.

IM SORRY!

I've literally had the worst writers block for the longest time...and because of it...my writing has gone sooooo downhill.

I'm hoping that I'll figure out how to get over this...and keep going with this book...

So until I can figure out what the heck I should be doing...I don't think I will be writing in this book for a bit...

I know what i want to do with this book...but I don't know how to get there...

I hope you all can understand!

NO THIS DOESNT MEAN IVE GIVEN UP ON THIS BOOK!!!

It simply means I need more time...

I'm honestly thinking of going back to the beginning and rewriting most of it...or just making a new book in general...

This book isn't my best work. And honestly I want to give my readers something they'll look forward to reading.
