I didn't stare long at the boy, just pulled on my hood from my leathers and said, "This way please." Maybe it was just because they are from the Winter court, but there was an icy chill to the silence that I didn't feel to comfortable in. Viviane broke the silence by saying. "Where are you staying, Nova Dear?" Yeesh, why does she care. I forced myself to turn around and smile at her. "I have my own wing of this place. Mom knew I wouldn't want to stay with all the sons." I glanced at Seth."So they built me my own place. It has everything I need in it as well." Viviane let out a small chuckle, "Well, that's amazing Deary." Yea, it makes me absolutely ecstatic.
If Bex didn't run off with some of the boys I wouldn't of had to take Seth to his room. But I don't mind it to much. We pass up a hallway that connected to one of the main rooms. He pointed in that direction and said with icy sharpness. "Show me that room." I didn't object, so I showed him to the room. It was one of the ball rooms. This one was decorated in favor of the seasonal courts. The other ballroom is decorated in favor of the solar courts. Which was a pretty neat idea if you ask me. He walked over to a side table and touched the tapestry on the wall beside it. Seth chuckled and glanced over at me. "These snowflakes are simply from the Winter Court. They look much better in person. They're my most favorite. I think my mom threw these in to make me happy." What was he babbling about? I walked over beside him and looked exactly where his hands were. "How do those make you happy? There isn't anything special about them, they're just normal snowflakes." I can swear I felt the wave of anger flow through him. Because next thing I knew, he had my pinned against the wall.
I started to panic because my wings were out. And as everyone from the Night Court knows — Illyrians don't like when their wings are pinned. I tried kicking up against him, but he held me down by pushing his knee between both of my legs. He seemed colder by a distance which was odd because he had a warm touch. "Don't speak about my life in a way that seems disgusting. If you went through what I went through, you'd understand why I love them so much." I was gritting in pain. My wings aren't supposed to be pinned and it hurt like you wouldn't believe. "Get off of me. You're hurting my—" my voice trailed off. I know I'm one of the illyrians strongest fighters and I should be able to get out of his touch, but I can't because wings are one of my greatest weakness'. "I'm hurting your what? Feelings?" I growled and I swear I felt my anger inside go off. "My wings! YOU ARE HURTING MY WINGS!" He seemed shocked and stepped back. I slid to the floor and started and started panting. I felt around my wings and whimpered. They'll be sore I know it. "I'm sorry,I didn't put to much thought to it." I stood and didn't reply, just snarled. I stormed out of the room and i heard him follow. His door wasn't far. I got in front of it, slammed it open and said. "This is Your room." I probably should've calmed down. But I just pushed past him and ran to my room. Jumped on my bed and started crying.
