Dusk Till Dawn- Zayn & Sia
Dallas' POV

I look around the room at Blake, Wesley, Leon, Aiden, Ryder's father, Rocco, Eddie, Gina, and Sam. Sam stood back in the corner and she didn't know what I called them here for. None of them did. My eyes go back to Ryder's father and my heart went out to him. He looked terrible like he hasn't been getting much sleep and I could relate to that. None of us seemed to be getting much sleep lately. We couldn't. This was going to be painful. For him. For all of us but this was also proof that she's still alive. That they all were still alive. This was hope. Holding my phone out in my hand I look to all of them on last time.

"What was so important that you couldn't tell us over the phone?" Blake asks with her arms crossed and my thumb twitches over the okay button.

"A got something." I say slowly.

"You got what?" She asks and I hesitate looking down at my phone again. I don't know if I could listen to it another time.

"Dallas we have other things to do like figuring out where they are so if you're just going to stand there then-"

"I'm sorry." She cries making Leon stop talking and the room go silent. I look away from the phone and close my eyes trying to imagine what she was going through when she did this. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. It's all my fault. It's all my fault." She stops maybe hesitating or trying to stop crying. "I'm scared Dallas. I'm so so so scared. I don't know what I'm doing but I have to run. Run. I have to keep running, I've been running for days but I can't stop. I have to make it for them. They're counting on me. They're counting on me. I can't fail them. I can't fail them." A shuffling noise comes through the phone and the sound of something hitting something.

Like she was hitting the wall or maybe even herself. "I can't fail them." She stops again but this time you could tell it was different. It was almost fearful. "They're here. They're here. He's here. He's here." Her voice picks up in speed. "How'd they find me? I have to run. I have to run. I have to run. I can't fail them. I can't fail them. They can't take me back. They can't take me back. They can't take me back. Please don't let them take me back. Please don't let them take me Dallas." She cried making me feel so bad. "But you're not here. You're not here... No matter what don't stop.

"Don't trust anyone. Keep running and running and running. I have to run." A beeping sound comes through the phone as you can hear running footsteps.

"He's coding!" A voice yells and Ryder stops again. All I could hear was her breathing no matter how hard she might have tried to control it.

"Don't trust him. Don't trust him. I have to go. I have to run. Don't stop running. Don't trust anyone." Something happens making a thud as if she dropped the phone or threw it and I take a deep breath before opening my eyes and stopping the message.

"How long have you had this?" Ryder's father asks as I put my phone down.

"I didn't have my phone on me." I say slowly but I knew I didn't answer his question. He waited for me to answer and I knew as soon as I did he'd hate me more than I hate myself. "Yesterday. She called yesterday but I just listened to it and then I called all of you."

"Yesterday?" He asks. "She called yesterday?" He was beyond angry but so was I. A lot can happen in a day he steps back leaning against the wall and looks away staring at the wall. As if the wall had all the answers.

"The beeping. She was in a hospital." Gina says. "I'd know that sound anywhere."

"Ryder wouldn't go willingly to a hospital." Rocco says and I nod in agreement. "Someone had to have taken her there forcefully."
