Chapter Forty-Five A lot Of Pain

Blake's POV

I look to Aiden and Alex sitting before me as they wonder what's happening. "You called us boss." Alex says and I nod.

"I'm need to come into contact with him. For Ryder." I say and both of them tense. Alex immediately shakes his head.

"I don't think that's a good idea boss. You know what happened last time you asked for him help." I nod.

"I remember, but he's the best person I know for this situation. I'm putting the two of you in charge of finding any way I can come into contact with him." Aiden hesitates and takes a deep breath as I wait for what I know is to come.

"Boss," He starts hesitantly. "We can't trust him."

"He's the only person who can help." I sigh. "I know who he is. I know what he's done. I know what he might do as well. I am well aware of the risks I'm taking of coming into contact with him. I know what could happen, but we need him. Ryder needs him. Listen, I am prepared. I will be watching is every move, listening to everything he says. I will be aware, prepared. I'll be on high alert because I know better than anyone what he could do again and I'm not going to give him the chance. But we need him. I know he'll know how to help Ryder. I know he can help her get through this. All of us.

"That's why we need him. Do as I ask. Please." Alex and Aiden give each other looks for a few moments as if debating before looking back to me and the both give a nod.

"Alright. If it'll help Ryder, I'm in."

"Me too." Alex says. "As long as what happened last time doesn't happen again, I'm in." I nod standing up.

"What he did last time will never happen to anyone again." I state. "I am sure of it. We don't have any other choice." I sigh as they stand up too.

"We understand, boss." Aiden says and Alex nods.

"We'll track him down."

"Good. Keep this between us and anyone you may need to help you. We don't want word getting out of him coming here though. I don't want to cause my people to be upset. When we find him, I'll give everyone one warning and that's all. We can't risk anything happening to him before he helps Ryder. After he helps Ryder, then we can do what we must." They both nod again and I let out a breath in relief. "Thank you." I motion to the door and they both walk out leaving me alone and I close my eyes letting out a sigh. I really hope this isn't going to be a huge mistake. I felt we needed him.

Their is a feeling in my gut telling me that he's the only one who can help and we need him, or it's telling me that we can't trust him again and I shouldn't look for him. I feel it's more toward we need him. He helped me once before, but he also lost my trust then as well. He did some bad things to all of us. He lost all of my people's trust. It's going to be hard convince them we need him when they find him. I just hope it's soon. A knock on my door sounds and take a deep breath getting prepared before standing straight up and facing it. "Come in." I say and the door opens revealing Leon.

For some reason, I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "What?" He asks. "What did I do to deserve that?" I shake my head.

"Nothing yet. You knocked when you usually barge in and now you're focused on a look I gave you." I cross my arms over my chest. "What did you do?"

"I've done nothing. Yet." He says. "I was just wanting to see how things were going. So, how is everything?" I study him wearily before I realize what he truly wants to know and I shake my head letting my arms drop.
