They know who I am

We pulled up the the bed and breakfast on the outskirt of town. I was the cutest little house sitting on the Paint Rock rivers waters edge. The sun had began to set over the tree line along the river and the view was breathtaking from our bedroom window. I began hangin our clothes in the closet well Joe said he was going to run down the street to the local grocery store the Piggly Wiggly to get some juice to mix with our drinks. He had suggested we relax on the back deck that over looked the river with a couple of drinks and watch the sunset that it would be romantic, honestly in the over year that I have know Joe he had i dont ever even said the word romantic. Granted some of the things he does are extremely romantic its just I dont think he actually wants to admit it. I changed into something cute before he came back figuring if he had any idea of being romantic I would help the situation along alittle bit. I was touching up my hair and makeup when Joe walked in.

"Hey baby why you getting all pretty for"

"you"

"for me, why"

"because you said we were going to go on the deck and watch the sunset that it would be romantic I wanted to look pretty for you."

"Brookie you arent pretty baby you are beautiful to me with or without the makeup and hair and clothes."

I dropped the bag on the table wrapping his arms around me from the back pulling me close, he leaned down I leaned up to meet his lips.

"come on beautiful lets make a drink and watch that sunset before it is gone."

"Okay."

I feel him take my hand and lead me out to the deck. He sat down pulling me into his lap and i instictively curl up into him. He nuzzled my neck and the jolt of electricity shot through my body. I couldnt help, I really didnt want too. We sat quitely wrapped in eachothers arms watching the sunset over the river. I felt the kiss he placed upon my cheek,

"Brookie"

"uhhuh"

"dance with me baby"

"what"

"dance with me baby"

"Joe there's no music nothing"

"I have my phone in my pocket, come on its perfect. The perfect sunset the perfect woman the perfect moment"

"Awe Joey yes I'll dance with you."

The smile curled on my lips and I stood up, he stood reaching into his pocket digging out this Iphone and he began to scroll through his music.

"There this is perfect."

All of a sudden all that could be heard was,

I feel him pull me into his arms as I lay my head on his chest I listened to his heartbeat. I close my eyes and my mind drifts off as our bodys sway to the music. All I could think of I wanted nothing to do with him when we met now all I want is this, Him forever. We sat quitely in eachothers arms for a few moments, his arm reached up nudging my chin to look up at him. His eyes seemed to be more blue than I ever seen, he leans down and I feel his lips press to mine. He pulled back and looked into my eyes,

"I love you My Brookie you know that right"

"I love you too"

"always."
