Guy | Girl

He was flipping through an old issue of Playboy, a beautiful model posing seductively on the cover. Her eyes kept flicking to the blaring nudity and big blocky text. How guys could gawk at those magazines shamelessly, she had no idea.

She frowned at him when he was nearly drooling over a glossy ad of Cindy Crawford, tanned arms and legs dripping with droplets of sparkling water, advertising an energy drink.

"Close your mouth, it's not a good look for you."

He looked up from the photo, completely unashamed. "Don't you girls fawn over hot guy celebrities too? What is it, the new hot celebrity, Cole Sprouse is it, or is KJ Apa more your style?"

"It's not that. It's just that everything is sexualized about girls."  She waved her hand at the energy drink advertisement in his magazine. "How does energy drink say tits and ass?"

"Calm down, it's just a marketing tactic to get people to buy the drink."

"That's exactly my point. And because of those models, a perfect body type is formed, From magazine covers to advertisement billboards, girls are taught exactly what is sexy and what the specific perfect body shape is."

"If you don't have it there are media and societal expectations putting pressure on us how to look and how to act, what to do and what to like. When has a gap of air between your thighs become more important than our own health? A perfect, drool-inducing Instagram post more important than our time and happiness?"

"I want girls to know, that they are worth so much more than their body fat, makeup looks, Instagram likes and snapchat friends."
