-Alex's POV-

All night, we texted all night. Now, he might walk me to school? What is going on? Oh no, Nathan is going to be so pissed! He said to stay away from him and I go and let him sit on my bed. If Nathan even sees him near me he's going to snap. Should I tell Danny to go without me? Could I ignore him?

It's already too late, and Danny seemed pretty cool last night. He wasn't like how other's make him out to be. He hasn't hurt me, he's been sweet to my mom, he's not punching, kicking, or stabbing someone the chance he gets. He's not even that mean, he's more.. sarcastic.

While I am stuck in my head, I have done my hair in some beach wave curls with my bangs held back, bobby pins are life savers. Make up done; went with nude tones, stuck to basics; winged eyeliner, tan eyeshadow, mascara, eyebrow filler, and pink lip gloss. Today I wore a white crop top hoodie, with black skinny jeans, my ballet flats are always my go to shoe. I find myself pacing, packing my bag full of us much as I need and some extra lip gloss, a few snacks, two waters, and extra pencils. I have no idea why today I cared, but him walking me to school made me want to look better than usual. I stop by my nightstand to grab a few rings to wear, my necklace with the house key on it, and some earrings. It's 6:53am, and mom has already cooked breakfast; eggs, bacon, sausage links, and toasts. She made extra of everything too. She's prepared seats at the table, so I sit and quickly eat my food. Mom is sitting across from me. I chew on some bacon while adding sugar to my mug and pour some hot coffee out of the coffee pot. I add some French vanilla creamer, mix it and take a sip. Coffee is the best. It's warm and refuels the soul.
As I am stuffing my face full of food, I look up out the window by the door to see Danny walking towards my house. Half my heart believes he's going to walk by. I watch in wonder, is he really gonna walk me to school. Knocking erupts on the front door. It's not loud knocks, but eager.
