(Danny's P.O.V)

I didn't want to think about it. Noticed it sitting in the corner of the bed. Mainly because the card stood out against the bear.
It's an ugly ass bear, but the card bothers me. The bear has a red heart patch on the left side of it.
I know it's not okay to go through someone's stuff but the moment I get the chance, I'm reading that damn card.
We had been sitting on her bed the last 20 minutes, while she copied my notes. Honestly, I did copy her science homework. Some of it didn't make sense when the teacher went over it but Alex really simplifies her answers. That technique works best in science and history.
"You're notes are so precise and detailed" she said. It's the first thing she's said since being back.
I'm gonna regret this.. "The bear?"
"What about it?"
"Where did you get the bear. Did you win at the arcade?"
"Oh... it was on the doorstep when I got back this morning. Grey got it for me." She said nonchalantly.
It pissed me off. I dunno why but there's more to this, but I'm gonna let it go for now. "Okay"

She fucking moved the bear, she moved it to her desk chair. It's now staring at me at the end of the bed. Fuck this stupid bear.
"I'm gonna use the bathroom. Do you want a drink after?"
"Sure". Perfect.
She walked out the room and immediately I sprung up grabbing the note. In the process I threw the books and papers in a mess on the bed but I'm determined.
Finally getting the paper out, I read it, word-for-word. I felt a strong pain in my chest and this sinking pit in my stomach. Who the fuck is this Grey guy.
I sat there holding the card, right. Partly in disbelief, the other part just disappointed. It must of been a couple of minutes. Suddenly the door opened again and she came in. She stopped when she noticed the card then sighed. "It's just a card. It doesn't mean anything."
"Right... cutie." Pushing off the bed I throw the card down and pack my shit into the bag. Please don't take this the wrong way Alex. I gotta go.
"Wait, Danny. Please don't go." She walked forward grabbing my arm gently..
I couldn't say anything. I walked out her bedroom door then out her front door. Honestly, it didn't matter what she said. It's not her I'm concerned about. This Grey... he's my problem. Clearly last night meant something to him.

Just then a nice ass Dodge Durango pulled up on the sidewalk next to her house. Because I checked the license plate, rage consumes me. It fucking says GreyUnit. If that doesn't scream a nightmare of a person.
This is my nightmare, this ashy platinum blonde with grey eyes and huge dimples cause the motherfucker be smiling ear-to-ear, with flowers and chocolates in one hand and his car keys in the other.
I'm too stunned and angry to do anything. I can't move, I want to run up and punch him in the throat. Beat him until he's black and blue, in the hospital on life support for a few weeks.
I'd even take the charges cause you know that expensive fuck is gonna press charges.
But, I won't.

The moment I act out like that, Alex won't like me anymore. Yes, I'm pissed off. But I don't want to loose her.
Whaaat the fuck am I gonna do?!
I snuck over behind some bushes while he walked around the car, kind of stalked him as he went up the stairs.
Here's the thing. His car never made the clicker sound. So, I snuck inside it.
Keeping my head down, I open the glove box and make sure there's nothing in there.. I'm not sure what I'm looking for but, I'm searching like crazy.
Under the seats, nothing.
In the center console, his wallet and phone. Wallpaper was a picture of him and, well shit. Sasha. Both smiling, looking happy.
I have never seen this dude before and now he's also been around my ex. This is a nightmare and a half.
I checked his wallet for his ID.
Oh, great... It's Sasha's brother.
I never heard of him before, not by his first name. Sasha always said my brother, like I'm supposed to know the guy.
Probably was supposed to know the guy actually. He was more involved with her after school activities, he went to her cheerleading practices but she quit that cause her body started to hurt and she wouldn't shut up about being sore.
She tried gymnastics but hated the competition aspect. She signed up for softball but could never get the ball or she would stumble around.
