Perfect

Garrus hugged me tight and caressed my hair, I kissed him again. We threw the game controllers off the couch as we rolled on it, I was smiling and Garrus had that cute turian smirk on his face.

“Shepard, are you sure you want to do… this? I understand if it’s too soon, I…” I shut him up again with another kiss.

“I’m sure Garrus, no moment could be as perfect… it’s just you and I, we’re together and that’s all that matters, right?”

“I love you, Shepard” he whispered in my ear, and I could swear I saw a tear escaping from his right eye.

“I love you, Garrus Vakarian” I whispered in to his. I stroke his fringe and then kissed his facial scars, he left out a little moan. He started to undo the zipper of my dress, very carefully, with his talons. I took off his shirt, he smelled like soap and… well, like Garrus. He has a distinctive smell that’s only his and it drove me crazy. I examined his body, my memories weren’t as vivid. He had many scars all over his body, some small, some big- I kissed every single one of them, and he seemed to enjoy it. He dug his talons into my skin, very softly, not hard enough to make a wound but hard enough to make me moan. I felt his hands all over my body, and I shivered at his contact, I was blissful.

Soon we were doing more than caress each other, and the couch was a real mess. We ended up falling of it and rolling on the carpet, under the coffee table and then over the coffee table. Garrus’ apartment had a fireplace with a timer, and as we were in the middle of it, it ignited itself just when the dusk was setting in, it was a beautiful thing- the soft light of the fireplace mixed with the faint glow of the twilight and the city lights that came in through the windows. We had the curtains open, but we didn’t care. As we reached the peak of the moment, I was the happiest I ever remembered being. Afterwards we cuddled next to the fireplace, Garrus played with my fingers as I snuggled next to him, we chuckled and kissed softly in between.  I wanted to stay like that forever.

“I hope it wasn’t too awkward” his voice was low and deep, a little playful.

“I… didn’t have the chance to think about it, it felt natural” I said, blushing a little.

“You did exactly the same thing you did when you first saw me… in my naked splendour” he said. “You stared at me, and then started kissing all my scars- I love it when you do that”

“Taking notes, Vakarian” I said, joking. “You… look very nice without your clothes on, from tonight on no more sleeping with shirts”

“Only if I can ask the same of you” he said, chuckling. “Damn, Shepard, you’re smoking hot- borrowing James’ expression”

“You do know humans get all wrinkly when we grow old, right?” Garrus looked at me, smiling with his eyes “Will you still love me when I’m old?”

“I’ll always love you, Shepard” he kissed me, then kissed my fingers one by one “I don’t care how you look… but, it’s a bonus” he smirked. “How about you, will you still love me when I’m old? Turians get wrinkles too, and we lose muscular tone- I won’t always be the stud you see before you” I laughed softly and nudged him, he laughed too.

“I’ll always love you Garrus. Hell, I lost part of my memory and I still remembered that I love you- you’re not getting rid of me that easy” I winked at him.

“It’s good to know… because I have no intention of leaving your side either” he hugged me like he was never going to let go, and I hugged him back just as tight.

We fell asleep by the fire, hugging each other.

The next morning we were woken up by the doorbell.
