Totally uneventful two days. Eat sleep study repeat. I was getting board with it because they don't even do physical training until the sixth week in. The first six weeks is about learning the routines to protect the seal that's been broken. I have been doing some research into working out how to close it up again. But I reached the point I had the call Dante in. Being an angelic best friends all I have to do is pray to him. And I did. I prayed to him to find a way to close the seal and come down to me when he has answers. I did that the first night here. And I woke up to him sitting on the end of the bed this morning. I squealed slightly jumping away from him and he laughed at me when I hit the ground I didn't have my glamour on so for the second I panicked but I have my own room. This school gives everyone their own private rooms that are no bigger then three by two meters. That's a bed and a desk and a closet. Communal showers and toilets. So not fun. I'm thankful they are cubicle because of they were open space I would have skipped them all together. But there is some decent eye candy around. I'm not saying I'm a pervert but hey. I'm gonna look. Who wouldn't. Anyway back to the creepy angel sitting at the end of my bed watching me sleep.
"What the fuck Dante?!" I half yelled at him but kept my voice low. "You scared the shit outta me and We aren't allowed people in our rooms let alone someone who doesn't go here!" I added Annoyed with him
"You prayed for me to find answers and I did." He said holding his hands up in defence. "One. This is Liliths seal correct?" He asked me to confirm.
"Obviously." I said looking at him
"Lilith is the Mother of monsters. So you need to find someone who is fit enough to replace her." He said looking at me with this pride stricken expression. "Someone who can control all creatures and other supernaturals."
"And?" I asked hoping he would continue and tell me who.
"You are really slow first thing in the morning aren't you." He said laughing lightly "you are the closest we could get. If you trace the seal in your blood it should close back up no problem. But you'll have to take form of vampire wolf and angel and have your shadow trace the seal with your blood to prove your worth. All at the same time." He said.
"You have to be fucking kidding me." I said looking at him annoyed. "Controlling one at a time is hard enough. You it want me to control all four at once." I was really annoyed now. I wanted to wrap my hands around his neck and strange some sense into the idiot sometimes
"I said maybe." Dante said scratching his jaw looking at the bed "the elders said you may need to obtain one or two more blood type for it to work. At the moment it's a big maybe." Dante said looking down at me on the ground still. I sighed and got up running my fingers though my hair I looked at Dante again.
"I'll try and get a handle on controlling all four at once. Until I can do that I can't perform the ritual to seal the gate. I'm here for a week so that gives me 4 more days to get this done otherwise it's going to be handled by people higher up then me." I said with a flat tone. I wasn't looking forward to informing the headmaster about the problems at this school. "You can go now Dante. If I need anything else I'll call." I whispered he got up off the bed and hugged me tight.
"Be careful. There is something wrong with these demons and i have a bad feeling." He whispered sounding concerned.
"I will be." I whispered again before he disappeared in a flash of light. I sighed again turning to the closet and grabbed some clothes and my glamour bracelets. Putting them on I headed out to go to the bathroom where I had a shower.
After I was done in the bathroom I headed downstairs to the basement. It was way to early for breakfast and was still technically curfew where we aren't allowed out of our rooms. Getting to the basement I hid behind a pillar as five students watching the gate to hell from the balcony above me. I need to get a copy of what the seal should look like. See if there is anything hidden in the seal itself. I looked up seeing a second balcony above where the guard detail was. Now I just need to get up there. I thought looking at it. Actually getting up there isn't the problem. It's get up there unseen.
"Grim." I whispered kneeling down. Grim came to my side in a cloud of smoke. I looked at him and he understood what I wanted him to do which was to make a big cloud of smoke so I can get to the top. It's not very subtle but since there are no stairs and the only way to their is a single ladder that is visible. No one other then the guards should be in here because of curfew. And the next guard shift change isn't until after breakfast. And the fourth and third years take that shift until tonight. Currently it's the second and first years. I personally think it's a stupid way to set up a guard detail they should have pair the fourth and first years together inexperienced with the experience. But what they did gives me a feeling someone on the inside opened the gate. Grim moved and the smoke filled the room causing panic. I ran out and instantly started climbing the ladder
"Fire!" I heard someone yell. Arrows shot though the smoke. One of them skimmed past me and cut my leg I got to the top balcony and the smoke cleared. I stayed hidden waiting for them to calm down.
"Did you see anything?!" A voice I recognise as Sam. He is one of the students who came here with me. But he doesn't know I'm here
"No!" Another guy responded I think that was Luke. Yes Luke is his name. He is a second year student here. Not a bad guy. He is actually very nice
"Then What was with the smoke?" The voice I recognise as jack another first year.
"Probably a prank. Remember the mixed school does these things religiously. So don't be surprised if they continue that here" Luke said sounding extremely annoyed. I guess they had calmed down now. I thought before looking at my leg were the arrow cut me. They weren't using normal arrows. Maybe dragon steel? It had cut into me rather deeply and burned me at the same time. Something dragon steel does. It's extremely rear and incredibly valuable. Plus it's very damaging to the body. There is no way I can heal from this injury. I sighed softly before getting to my feet looking around the room i noticed one thing instantly. The room itself was apart of the seal. Five pillars sat around the room to hold up the balconies but they were also the points of the star. Looking at it form up here their are lines on the ground that mark out the star around the seal. You wouldn't notice them from the ground. The seal itself was the sigil of Lilith. There are two common sigils one is pretty basic and is still used in some magic spells these days. The other is complex. The reason everyone uses the basic sigil is because placement doesn't matter. This one however if one symbol is off point by little bit the whole thing fails. The quarter moon which rests at the top of the symbol as to be at true north exactly. Two dots one if either side of the moon have to be the same distance from the zero point and be the exact same size. An arrow that is on the bottom of the sigil the point of it had to point directly south. That just three point of the sigil and there are 19 steps to drawing out this sigil. I know all of this because professor Floral calves this exact symbol onto her candles. She tells me that it helps when doing complex spells because the magic flows more smoothly. Slowly I moved toward the pillar that was the north pillar. I placed my hand on it before leaning against it. I don't even know what I'm going to do anymore. I thought looking at the giant crack in the ground. I have a feeling I'm going to need the blood of a witch to complete this. I thought before a bell started ringing. It was extremely loud.
"What's that?!" I heard sam yell covering his ears. He was your typical shifter. Only he was a bear. So more physical bulky then that of Blake. But he had the dark brown hair and brown eyes. His face was more on the chubby side as well.
"That's the emergency bell! For when the king shows up!" Luke yelled. I rolled my eyes before they ran out of there I waited until they had left before following them out. I made my way to the dinning hall casually not in an big rush. But that was a big mistake
