The remainder of the holidays we spend our time enhancing our abilities. I was working with Wes Olivia was working with Sphinx. Returning back it schools olivia had to fly out the night before school returned as there is no pick up location here for her as well as human customs. If she goes anywhere outside the school she needs to take her passport and stuff with her. I also returned to the school early using one of the portals Professor floral taught me. I wanted to get lessons organised as well as other things with my room.
Walking into the school I was surprised the headmaster was waiting for me. He looked at me and then at luca
"Good morning." He spoke
"Morning were you waiting for me?" I asked him.
"Yes I was. I wanted to speak with you." He told me
"Is something wrong?" I asked him
"No definitely not. Some of your students have had nothing but supportive comments regarding your lessons and I wanted to speak to you about how best to conduct your lessons to increase productivity." He told me.
"Actually I wanted to speak to you about that too." I told him as Luca took my bad. "Can we break the classes back into grades. It would be more ideal and prevent repeating which is the biggest problem." I told him
"Well the blue class can't keen black level practical." He told me
"I am away of that. But I have already worked that out. Everyone does the same theory work at different paces. It's unnecessary. Only the black ranks do practical. And in the first year there is only one black rank. Doing their practical would be quick and easy allowing more time for theory with the classes." I told him "the girls school already does this with great success. So why don't we?"
"Teacher numbers is the main reason." The headmaster told me. "We only have 5 teachers. You Professor floral. Professor miles who had to cut his favourite class because of other priorities. And then your two unnatural teachers who primarily run the red and green ranks." He told me.
"Yes I understand that. But it reinforces the separation of grades. The fourth years aren't learning anything new. Plus they are much smaller classes that everything can be taught in half a day with ease." I told him. "By breaking down into grade and not rank everyone will be able to learn something new. And we only have half a year left to get the fourth year students to reach their acceptable grades for graduation. I mean no one graduated last year because they never learned the curriculum." I told the headmaster.
"Alright. We will trial it. If it works we will keep it going." He told me slightly annoyed now "however the headmaster from the girls school requested to speak with you. She is waiting in my office." He told me. I nodded slightly and walked off as he went to annoy Professor floral now.
Getting to the office I let myself in seeing the headmistress. She smiled at me
"Oh gemini thank you for coming to see me." She said sounding relived. "I spoke with my girls about the education you have provided them in monsterology and even the interaction you allow with creatures. I have even wanted to do this for so long with the lower ranks but I myself and none of my teachers have the ability to tame creatures the way you can." She told me
"Oh it's not a problem I believe everyone should be able to see the creatures in person." I told her.
"Well that's exactly it. I want you to come teach at my school. Time zones are a bit different. And our morning lesson starts just after your last lesson here's" she told me sounding hopefully.
"I'm not sure. I already do a lot and I don't want to push myself too much." I told her.
"I completely understand. We only do monsterology two days a week. Not twice a day. So only 8 hrs a week is all I'm asking for. Four one hour lesson a week over two days." She told me. One is on Friday. I'll allow you to stay at the school as well if you need to." She added
"I guess. I will have to see how I go. If it's too much work I will have to step back." I told her.
"I understand." She told me. "We will trial it for a couple weeks and see how you are feeling with it." She added.
"Okay sounds good then." I said smiling at her "how will I move from here to there?" I asked her.
"I know you aren't the best with moving though portals which is why Professor floral has assisted me in opening a portal up for you specifically to move between here and there. It will be connected to your room here and a small office there. It's already set up and when you are ready I would like for you to come over so we can discuss the arrangements further." She told me
"Of course." I said before she left.
