The sun is shining on my horizon again
Petricore fills my lungs
Finally I can breathe again
I don't quite feel alone
I know that somewhere friends are near
The first I've felt that in a while
I realise I'm up again
I've finally passed through the rougher mile
The episode is over
My mind feels free and light
Smiling doesn't hurt today
In fact it feels quite right
The flowers open up their blooms
I take the colorful sight in
Subtly at first
I begin to feel a grin
It twitches at my lips
Tickles at my nose
And then I find I'm laughing
For I reason I don't know
I don't hurt today
My heart isn't wrenching
I feel good today
My mind isn't searching
For the smile I'd thought I'd lost
It's subtly becoming clear
That I don't have to be scared
Or sad
Angry
Or lost
The thick of it is gone
And the silver lining is near
