- Ramiro?! - We both exclaim at the same time.

- In the flesh. I am sorry for entering without knocking but I have something you need to see, Ámbar.

Ámbar

I examine Ramiro for a moment. He had a determined look, but there aren't any traces of mischief in his face.

I open my mouth to talk, but Matteo is faster.

- Ramiro, in case you haven't noticed, Ámbar is in a delicate situation. If you come here with more videos to disturb her, I suggest you leave, please.

Ramiro chuckles and shakes his head, before replying:

- There's a major issue we at the Jam & Roller all share, and that is considering that everyone on the Jam & Roller team acts and thinks the same, and that the Red Sharks team is all about evil. That's obviously not true and I came here to prove it.
You see, Ámbar, I was on of the people who thought you didn't deserve forgiveness at first. I was one of the people who thought you had betrayed us twice by burning the rink and changing team.
But time and the way people have attacked you, have shown me that what defines right and wrong aren't our teams.
Jazmín did disappoint me completely after that video. Evil or not, you nor anyone should have their life exposed and commented like that, let alone with a baby in the middle.
I can't change what she did, but I think I can bring you some peace of mind. It's only fair that you know the truth.
So please do watch this video until the end, and I hope it heals you and your baby a little.

I am a bit shaken aback by Ramiro's words, not really expecting kindness from him. So it takes a bit to accept the phone he is handing me, and another to actually press start on the video.

I watch what looks like a meeting between the members of the Jam & Roller team, but soon enough I get that it's Simón arguing with them, well a few of them.

Matteo leans next to me to watch it too.

Simón's words warm my heart, bringing some relief to the fears and scenarios I have been playing in my head, over and over again.

"Because, like it or not, I love Ámbar. I love her despite all her flaws, because of those flaws. I love her because I know her like neither of you does."

"But those two are my life now, for better and for worse! And everyone who gets on the way will have to hear from me!"

"Now Ámbar believes I am responsible for that, which means my family is at stake here. But I am going to find out who did it, and they will hear from me."

By the end of it, my eyes are filled with tears, which I wipe quickly, handing the phone back to Ramiro.

- Thank you for this. - I simply say, not really knowing what else to tell him.

He nods and gives me a little smile.

- Family is the most important thing to me. You don't mess with family. Now you and Simón are one, along with that baby of yours. Jazmín made a move against you guys which I consider unacceptable, so this is my way of trying to correct it.

Matteo and I exchange looks, neither expecting this attitude from Ramiro.

I clear my throat, trying to conceive just how really emotional I am feeling at the moment.

- Thank you, Ramiro. This... Well, this was really what I needed. Actually what the three of us needed... Thank for coming... I... I am sorry about my previous actions...

Ramiro stands his hand, stopping my speech.

- I didn't come here expecting anything from you. We all have ours pasts, and one way or the other we have to own them. Yes, you were the best person last year, but well, I am starting to understand that neither were we. So I am glad I could help. Congrats on the baby, by the way.

He now gives me a smirk that says "Oh, girl, had have you put yourself up to." I shake my head and smile back, well my kind of smile.

- Thank you again, Ramiro. I would say I owe you, but I guess this one is on Simón.

The three of us chuckle and Ramiro messes with his curls.

- I think that's more than fair. Well, my job here is done so I will let you rest. Just a piece of advice, don't worry too much about what everyone says, in the end you have be on good terms with yourself and only yourself. - He tells me, leaning on the end of the bed.

- It's easier said than done... But I am trying to! Thank you again for coming.

- I guess I will take the ride, Ramiro. Guessing you want to be alone right now. - It is Matteo's turn to talk.

I take a deep breath before answering:
- Yes. I have a call I need to make.

Note: I know this is short, but it's easier to post more like this. You will get a new one soon, with more development and tiny jump in time. See you next time!
