Izuku was out wandering the city in the early morning watching the people around him. Students were walking to school, Adults were heading to work, a few Elderly were out with their grandchildren taking a stroll. Izuku could only remember the good times that he once had with his mother. If he didn't say that he missed those times he would be lying to himself. He had wished that things would have turned out differently, but Unfortunately, the world was too cruel.
As Izuku walked he tried to think of a way to get rid of Tomura. It was pretty messed up to try and kill the one who gave you a second chance at life, but then again... Tomura brought this upon himself. He left Ochako's body to Kurogiri to handle. He thought that it would be fun if Ochako just appeared to have gone "missing" just like he had. His thoughts were soon interrupted. When he ran into someone "Oh God I'm so sorry!" Izuku said, immediately putting on his innocent act.
"No, It's my fault." Izuku looked up to see a man who looked to be his age with half red and half white hair and a scar over his left eye, wearing casual clothing.
"O-Oh it's just you Todoroki! It's nice to see you again!"
It's nice to see you as well." Izuku gave his best smile but Todoroki couldn't help but notice that something was off about the boy. His eyes just didn't seem to meet his smile. They looked dark and cold. (Just like my soul)
"Ah, this is awkward... you were probably listening in on the phone call between Kacchan and I, huh?" Izuku asked.
"I was... Can you explain a bit about that? I won't tell Bakugo that we spoke to each other either."
"Thanks and sure... Well... What do you want to know Shoto?"
"I know you said at the mall that you were the reason that you two stopped being friends but what did you mean by that? What exactly happened that made you give up? Why did you run away??" Izuku could only let out a soft giggle at the taller boy.
"So many questions, but I'll try to answer them properly. For your first question, it's as I said. We just weren't compatible and I learned that the hard way."
"How?" Todoroki asked.
"He bullied me of course. Blew up my stuff, beat me, turned the class on me, the class turned the school on me, etc."
"He did all of that to you?"
"Yeah! So... Uh... One day I had enough and I tried to take my own life. Obviously I failed so I ran off, made new friends and now... Well... uhh... I'm surviving out here on my own! But anyway this is completely off topic but um... I recalled the conversation that we had the other day about your father and I thought to myself... Do you know what would be really funny yet kind of messed up? If you ended up rebelling just to beat your dad at his own game~ That would be hilarious! Messed up... but hilarious."
Todoroki looked at the green-eyed boy. His comment was strange, but it holds some truth in. Shoto stared at the boy and observed him. "I am rebelling in my own sort of way. I refuse to use his-" Todoroki paused as he remembered what Izuku had told him at the mall the other day. "I mean... my fire quirk. I want to become a great hero while only using ice."
"That's not gonna be enough. He'll just think that you're being a stubborn teenager. If you really wanna get back at him then you would have to use that fire quirk for uhm... different purposes."
"Hm... I guess you have a point..." The conversation that he listened in on between Bakugo and a few of his classmates replayed in his mind. Todoroki shook his head and he gently grabbed Izuku's wrist making the boy look at him. "Come with me."
"Huh? Wh-Where are we going???" Izuku asked as he was pulled along.
"Don't you think it would be nice to at least let Bakugo or even your mother know that you're okay? You at least still have a mom and from what Bakugo said she still loves you. My mother hates me so you shouldn't burn bridges with her."
