It was obvious to everyone in the class that Katsuki was infuriated. He had been looking down at his desk with an absent look on his face as he thought about his childhood best friend. He finally managed to see Deku again but he wasn't fast enough to grab him and drag him back home. He was pissed at himself but he was also beyond confused. He didn't know what Izuku meant when he said that he wasn't there to talk to him yet and that they would meet again. When will they meet again?? What was with that laugh? Had his mind been warped into something else? Was he even the Deku that he remembered? He's starting to think that maybe he hallucinated the whole thing. He didn't want to admit it and neither was he going to, but he was kind of worried. Did villains change him for the worst? But then again, how would he have become friends with his classmates? Nothing added up. Kirishima would try to talk to him but his attempts were only met with insults or telling him to shut up because he was thinking.
Katsuki's eyes then shifted over to Todoroki. After seeing him talk to Deku two days ago, the boy had seemed off. The half hot half cold boy seemed as if he were brooding about something. He wanted to know what he and Deku had been talking about. He knew that the boy was lying to him about their conversation because now Todoroki had been acting off ever since that day. He wanted to confront him and what better way to confront him than when they train in the U.S.J.?
Everyone had moved to the locker rooms on Aizawa's command to get dressed in their hero uniforms. He heard Todoroki's phone go off, then he looked towards the boy as he slowly started to get annoyed with the sound. "Hey! Hurry up and shut your damn phone off!!!"
Todoroki gave Bakugo a look that showed that he was a bit surprised before going back to his normal gaze as he took his phone out of his pocket and checked it. His eyes seemed to widen at whatever the message said before going back to his normal emotionless expression and texting the person back.
Todoroki POV
While I changed into my hero uniform my phone started to go off, but it didn't process in my mind until Bakugo yelled at me for it. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and as soon as my screen lit up I saw Izuku's name flash across the screen, but why is he texting me? He knows I'm in school. I unlocked my phone and my eyes widened when I read it.
Izuku: Hey, hopefully, you read this before it's too late, but we're attacking the U.S.J. and I'll be there being used as bait~ Also, be warn that Kurogiri is a traitor so I would advise watching out for him, I fear he may actually try to kill me during this."
So, Kurogiri is a traitor... Now, I'm confused. What are we going to do about Shigaraki? Does Shigaraki still trust him? Do I have to change targets? Instead of asking myself this I decided to text back.
Me: Is Shigaraki still my target? What do you want me to do?
We were then called out to the shuttle bus so that we could be taken over to the U.S.J. and as I walked I couldn't help but feel the typical anxiety creep up my spine. Not because of the upcoming attack, but because I've been left out of the loop. A lot has happened with the league within the two days that they hadn't contacted me and I guess now I can see why Izuku didn't contact me at all. Once I got into the shuttle and found a seat to myself, I waited for a reply. When his reply came to me I let out a small sigh of relief as I pulled my phone back out of my pocket, making sure to put it on vibrate this time. When I looked at the message it was sent in intervals.
Izuku: Forget about Tomura for now. I'll explain everything to you later. Just know that you're coming with us, and I'll be pretending to be a hostage.
Izuku: Do listen to your teacher, but in the end, let yourself be captured along with me. Keep a close eye on Kurogiri because I have no doubt in my mind that he'll try to kill me since he's been trying to do that since this morning...
