Chapter 29

"Rise and Shine Kacchan~ It's another wonderful day to smell the ashes~! Not only that, but it's another day that I get to train you!"

Katsuki groaned in pain. He had cuts and bruises all over his body from Izuku's harsh 'training'. It had been four days since Katsuki had let himself be captured and Izuku thought that if Katsuki were to join the villains then it would be in his best interest to give up his hero mentality just like Todoroki.

He was told that he would be given a pill but Izuku wanted to try torture first as his first method to break him. "Why... why are you like this...? What have they done...? You're not you... No matter what I did... The Deku I know would never go so low..."

Izuku smiled happily at the fact that after four days of torture Katsuki finally spoke to him. Katsuki's silent treatment had only pissed him off which would cause him to lash out at the blond with his knife and yell, questioning why Katsuki wouldn't respond to him.

"I didn't know that you were so naive Kacchan! But to answer your question they've done absolutely nothing~! This is all on you~! I am still me. I will forever be me. Izuku Midoriya is my name, but that sweet supportive boy you once knew named Deku is no more~ What happened to that sweet boy you ask? Well..." He took a step closer to Katsuki and wrapped his arms around Katsuki's neck and whispered into his ear. "You killed him~" he pushed off of him and laughed at the look of pain and sorrow on Katsuki's face.

"I'm sorry... If I had known I would've..."

"You would've what? What would you have done if you knew that everything you did would push me so far? Nothing. You would have done nothing. You saw how the pain you've dealt to me was affecting me. What did you do? You laughed, turned people against me all because I had a dream, hit me, used your quirk on me and I'm surprised that I don't need a hearing aid yet. You've Destroyed everything I had that even related to my hobby of learning about heroes... Need I go on? I think you get the picture. Tomura Shigaraki had found me, he appreciated me for what I could do. He appreciated me for the very thing that YOU blew up and told me to kill myself over!"

Katsuki flinched from the sudden rise of Izuku's voice. Izuku smirked, loving the look of fear on Katsuki's face. "Anyway, Tomura provided me with a place where I felt needed, where I was praised for the things that I could do and not insulted for the things that I couldn't do. I will always be grateful for what he did for me."

"Then why did you kill him??"

"Simply because I was jealous."

Katsuki looked up at Izuku with a look of anger but once he met eyes with cold, dead emerald-eyes it slowly dissipated. "All of that... because you were jealous. If that's the case then why didn't you go after me first?"

"You were always my main goal Kacchan. Tomura... well... After four years of watching him lead the villains... I realized that I wanted what he had. I wanted people who would listen to me for a change. Take my ideas into consideration instead of brushing me off. All For One before he was arrested offered me a chance to be the new leader if anything ever happened to Tomura. So I realized that the only way to become number one... Was to get rid of him. If I had gone after you first I would have set myself up for failure. I'm a bit smarter than that. I mean... I was quirkless at the beginning as you know."

"How did you get a quirk? Did you lie to me? Saying that you were meant to be quirkless so that I wouldn't know? So that you could one-up me?"

"Yes and no... Either way, I still fucked you over~ up until... let's say after I killed Uraraka, I was quirkless. The quirk I have now-"

"You said that the league killed her!" His interrupting had earned him a hard punch to the face. But Izuku didn't stop after just one, he kept going until Katsuki was spitting out blood that came from his nose. Izuku held Katsuki's head up just to make sure that Katsuki could taste his own blood. "Do not interrupt me while I am talking. You will wait until I finish talking to ask your questions. Who knows, maybe if you'd listen to me for once, all of your questions will be answered before you ask them, hm?"
