"How are these people still heroes???"
"Children are dying!"
"How are kids dying in a school full of heroes?!"
Izuku could hear the shouts of concerned citizens as they stared at the tv screens from outside of a store window.
"Honestly what's the point of having heroes if they suck at their jobs?"
Izuku couldn't help but chuckle as the citizens started to think the same way as him. "What's so funny kid?" A stranger asked.
"Hm? Oh, I'm sorry! I just think this whole situation is a mess... I use to respect heroes so much but now... If I really needed help... Would they really be able to help me?" Izuku asked the man.
"Yeah, I see where you're coming from and honestly I can't even say for sure anymore and it's sad."
Izuku nodded his head and took off his hoodie to show the man his face.
"Hey... Aren't you one of the kids that went missing???" Izuku smiled sadly and nodded.
"I am... But I wasn't saved by any hero if that's what you're thinking... I saved myself."
"How the hell??"
"W-Well, you see it's a bit complicated... I pretended to give in to league's demands and at a certain point, the Yakuza had gotten involved and wanted to partner up with them. The league didn't trust them and since I managed to gain the leader's trust they sent me to the shie hassaikai as a spy so at that point I found a way to pin them against each other to get them to fight which lead to them being distracted so that I could escape, the leader of the league of villains was killed by the Yakuza leader and the yakuza leader overhaul was arrested when the heroes got to him."
"Damn... So in that situation, the heroes were just a pawn..."
"Basically."
"So wait... What did they want with you???"
"Well, you see... I was born quirkless but I'm able to analyze someone simply by taking a look at them."
"That's not a quirk?"
"Apparently. That's what the doctor told me. Anyway, they wanted to use me to get info on the heroes. But it's depressing to know that I had to save myself... Now all of these poor students are going missing... How are we supposed to feel safe??"
"I totally agree...!" The man said with a nod.
"You know why this is all happening?? It's because these heroes are corrupt. I don't think they even care about us, to be honest with you... I think they're just in it for the money and fame.
"That makes complete sense! If they're just in it for the money then no wonder none of these kids have been found yet! These heroes don't even care for our safety!" A woman said
"Well, there ain't shit we can do about it, lady! They get paid because of us! Our taxes help them get their paychecks! Another man had shouted in the crowd.
Izuku couldn't help but laugh.
"What's so funny kid???" The man asked.
"Well speaking as someone who they failed to save... Why don't we protest? Maybe even riot? Why have your hard-earned taxes taken away from you and given to people who are corrupt and couldn't give two shits about you??? They can call me a thug or maybe even a villain for thinking this way, but it's true! The heroes nowadays are so incompetent! I was friends with the U.A. students in class 1-A and to know that two of my friends are dead and one had been kidnapped during the hero's mission to save the girl who was being abused by the leader of the Yakuza or well... The shie hassaikai... It breaks my heart... You know what's even sadder. The students were the ones that were trying to save me along with the girl! Heroes were there to back them up but the poor students got hurt and my childhood best friend was captured. I took the little girl and ran then got her to safety. Not the heroes... Me. I saved her! A boy without a quirk saved a little girl from years of abuse!"
