The next two weeks were exactly as I had predicted, they were eventful. Poor Kaldur got covered in burns from trying to teach Sky how to wield her powers. I almost crashed trying to teach Mia and Victoria to fly. Fortunately, Mia, Victoria, and Evelyn can now control their powers and were sent home. Mia found out that Spirit and Thunder had card for the other horses in her absence, much to her relief.
Sky is still learning but we need a better teacher. I was discussing such options with Dick and Sky when the alarm sounds. "What's going on?!" Sky yells over the noise.
"There's an intruder!" I shout back.
Dick turns off the alarm and pulls up a screen displaying all the security cameras. "They're heading for this room and there are three of them," he reports, "They must have gotten in through the garage."
I watch the door through which the intruders would enter. As the door opens Sky unleashes a lightning bolt far more powerful than was necessary at them.
One of them stops forward and absorbs the electricity, "I thought you said these people are allies, Aquario," the male complains. I gasp as I notice that he's made of electricity.
I stop forward, "I'm sorry, we didn't realize who you were. I take it you are Aquario's comrade Tempest, correct?" I keep my wings in a relaxed, unthreatening position.
The male glared but a female, who appeared to be made of nature itself, stepped forward, "That is correct. And I am Gia, the elemental of Earth. Who might you be?"
"She's the King's daughter," Aquario says, causing the other two to look at him in shock. "Her name was changed when she came to Earth, so she is no longer known as Princess Aquila. She now goes by her hero name Eagle or her civilian name—"
"Don't!" I interrupt him, 'How did he even learn my real name?' I think as I continue speaking, "Most of my team doesn't know my civilian name and for my own safety I'd like to keep it that way."
"But your team isn't here other than Nightwing and I," Skylar says.
I glance at her, "One, they are mostly likely eavesdropping right now, since the alarms went off they probably started to come to this room and are now listening at the door. And two, Superboy has super hearing."
"Oh," Sky says, a little sheepishly.
I return to my attention to Aquario, "So what brings you here? I see you found Tempest and Gia but where is your other friend, Flare was it?"
Aquario sighs, "Flare's crystal is in a volcano. Gia and I can't get close and Tempest... well... he doesn't want to cause an eruption."
"So you need me help," I guess.
The three look at each other. "We don't want to put you in danger but... Yeah... We need help," says Gia.
I nod, "I'm in.:
"What?!" I turn to see Tim standing at one of the doors staring at me in shock. Behind him I can see a few of my teammates retreating back down the hallway. "Eagle you can't! Stopping missiles is one thing but going into a volcano?! That's too crazy!" Tim exclaims, storming over to me and trying to grab my shoulder.
I grit my teeth and pull away from him, "Red, I have to. Unless you know someone else who can take the heat of a volcano."
Tim's expression hardens, "I'm coming with you. I have a suit that can take large amounts of heat for a short period of time.
"That won't work."
We turn to Tempest. "And why not?" Tim demands.
"The only way in is to fly," says Aquario.
