Here we stand before a monumental judgement:
One way littered with misunderstanding and ridicule,
the second lined with hardships and harshness,
an unforeseen third lingering in the shadows.Avoid eyes that may disapprove
lest religious lips name you cruel.
They will name yours the path of the fool.
Only you can know it was the right avenue.
In the happy moments floats a harrowing darkness.
A family doomed to lives of sparseness.
They said this was for fairness;
is a life unwanted heartless?Swiftly both are beneath a tombstone,
struck by a preventable syndrome.
It only had to be one
but society chose both.Here we stand before a monumental judgement.
Only you can know it was the right avenue.
Is a life unwanted heartless?
Society chose both.
