The right moment of kindness
Can defrost a frozen heart.
A thoughtful call when apart
Can bring a certain merry brightness.A gentle action of goodwill
Can clear the fog of fear.
A hug, friend drawn near
When one confronts being ill. Some sympathy can provide
A view previously unavailable.
Understanding unforgettable,
No longer do others need to hide.Go into this good day
Knowing someone needs you.
It may be something simple you do
Or a compliment paid.Being compassionate involves
Every being to make the world better.
It can be so much greater
If we all resolve.
