If only you knew, what you left me to go through
Abandoned me between the raging tides
Strong enough to pull me through
The deeper depths of misery
With a heavy heart I carried
Failing to make it through the strides
All the tears left not to dry
Make the greater part of the current
Slowly swallowing me in the deeper ends
Through all those empty lies
Which I failed to see with my blind eyes
Playing the role of the bigger fool
Without getting an overview
That the only remedy was getting over you
Yet am still anchored to it
As my center piece eventually melts away
Into the oblivion of existence
As I sluggishly sink underneath.
Drowning.
