Author's Note:
I know it ain't Xmas yet. But just found this poem which I thought I had lost plus a bunch of other poems. I actually wrote this last year when I spent my first Xmas and this year's new year away from my family and friends cause of school and stuff. It's a long story but anyway, check it out. Hope you will like it.

******************************

I linger about your presence beside me

Imagining how it would've been

All the crazy stuff we could do

Paint a perfect picture me and you

Allowing our imagination take control

Burning our way through till all the nay-says thaw

Taking no blame for the fall

Until sanity decides to call

I know it's all in my head

Hope hanging on a weak thread

But in my heart I still saved a spot for you

Like the empty kangaroo pouch

On this day, ready to carry you through

Cause it ain't Xmas without you.
