Normal POV~

"Atem! Calm your royal ass down!" Akefia yelled, using his strength to restrain the former Pharaoh onto the couch, who was also freaking out.

"How am I going to calm down? My beloved is on a bed, his throat is red, he's coughing, and he has to breathe in from his mouth!" Atem exclaimed, slapping away the hand that dared to restrain him.

"Pharaoh, calm down. It's just the common cold, everyone has it once in a while." Seth told him. Looking down on him, Atem huffed in annoyance, a red hue appearing on his cheeks.

"...It means he's a bit sick." Akefia added, surprised that Atem had no idea what that was. But wait, shouldn't he already know what a common cold was?

"Don't worry, a common cold doesn't last long. Soup and tea will help Yami." Bakura reassured. A tray was in his hand with said items.

"*Gasp* Bakura! Get over here!" Malik screamed from the room, Bakura eyes widened and nodded. The albino set the tray on the table and ran to the room, getting concerned looks from the others.

"What is it?" Bakura asked while he ruffled his hair a bit. Malik was shaking, like a leaf in the wind. Gently, Malik showed Bakura what he was seeing.

"He's b-been doing it again." Cuts were aligned on his arm, some were fresh and some were old. They thought Yami would stop doing it that time they caught him. The pale man had promised, had promised out loud that he wouldn't do it ever again for the rest of his existence. But yet, the promise had been broken.

"Malik? Bakura? What's going on?" A soft voice asked, entering the room. It was Téa.

"Téa, search in his bathroom for any daggers or knives... Yami's been cutting himself again. And while you're there, grab disinfectant and bandages" Malik said, looking up at her. Téa gasped and covered her mouth when she saw his arm. It looked like a murder scene. She nodded and made her way into the bathroom.

"What are we going to do? We can't let Atem know Yami was doing self-harm. What do we say?" Bakura questioned, watching Yami sleep in peace. Malik sighed.

"I honestly don't know, maybe we should let Yami tell him. They are a couple that has been separated by a death which caused depression. However, I'm pretty sure Atem will sense it. He always knows when Yami is in trouble." Malik said. Téa came back a few minutes later with disinfectant and bandages, she did the honor of healing the cuts while Bakura and Malik went out.

"What's wrong? You two look like you've seen a person being beheaded." Seth remarked, sitting down with Seto on his lap.

"Oh, uh, about that. Bakura forgot the soup and tea, I forgot a certain medicine." Malik said laughing nervously. Bakura joined his laughter and grabbed the tray. Anzu raised an eyebrow at the two.

"Weirdos. Anyway, tell Téa we're leaving. We still need to do her punishment and we need to catch up." Anzu said, waving them off. They slightly glared and nodded.

"Are you finished?" Bakura questioned, watching as Téa stood up.

"Yeah, for?" She asked, cocking her head to the side.

"Anzu told us to tell you that you're leaving with her. Punishment and catching up in a sentence." Malik said, sitting Yami up into a sitting position. The movement caused Yami to whimper and sleepily open his eyes.

"Guys...?" Yami whispered, rubbing his eyes to unblurry his vision. "Where's Atem?"

"Yami, he's outside. With the others, how do you feel?" Téa asked, completely forgetting about Anzu.

"Like crap, I don't like it when I'm sick" Yami explained as he smiled. His other three friends smiled back and that's when he noticed it. The smile on his face dropped as the bandages on his arm came into his view. Crap, he's in trouble. He heard a sigh.

"Why?" Was all that came out of Malik's mouth, his smile dropped as well and he had the guts to stare into Yami's orbs.

"I'm sorry... I promised I wouldn't do it again... I'm sorry..." Yami's words were almost not audible. The pale man curled up into a ball and hid his face in his arms. He was ashamed that he had been caught, again.

"Yami, we forgive you. But why didn't you tell us? We could've helped again." Bakura said, sitting by him.

"I just couldn't help it. I was doing so well, but I was remembering again in my bedroom when I saw the dagger shining on my desk. It happened and I couldn't stop. I didn't want to stress any of you more than you already were." Yami explained, lifting up his head.

"Yami, we wouldn't stress more... You're important to us, how could you even think of being stressing?" Téa remarked while hugging him.

"Please forgive me."

"Please stop apologizing, Yami, you're already forgiven." Malik stated.

"Now, how about some soup and tea?" Téa offered. Yami coughed and nodded quickly.

-Outside-

"For god's sake! What's taking them so long!" Anzu exclaimed. She was tired of hearing the guys talk nonsense about why they were here, she really didn't care that much. Everyone got quiet and turned their head to look at the tanned woman.

"Unlike you, Anzu, they care for their friend and are curing him." Atem growled as he began standing up.

"I don't give a fuck about this 'friendship'! Téa broke a rule she wasn't and know she cares for that piece of shit!" Anzu snapped, folding her arm. Hell broke loose, literately. The sunny day suddenly turned cloudy and cold, they could've sworn they heard thunder. And they were sure the devil possessed Atem at that very moment.

"Okay, listen here you bitch. First of all, when do you care about Téa being friends with whoever she wants? Second, you can't give a human being rules, you know damn well we aren't perfect and will break them. Third, never call Yami a piece of shit, because next time you do, you'll be sent somewhere not even I could get you out of. Take that as a friendly warning. Having said that, burn in Hell." Atem said, his voice was frighteningly calm and sweet. Anzu took the warning and nodded.

"Okay, Okay! Chill! I'll not call him that word!" Anzu yelled. The sun and heat reappeared and Atem no longer looked like the devil. Instead, he smiled.

"Thank you," Atem said and walked back to the couch.

"You need to learn to control your anger, Pharaoh," Marik said, pretending like he wasn't scared at all. Hopefully, his pants weren't wet, wait, were they! Oh, no they aren't. Thank the gods themselves.

"Sorry for making you wait, Anzu, now we can go," Téa said as she walked out of Yami's room. Anzu nodded and they walked out together. The others could hear a faint sentence of, "Did you see those random clouds?".

***

"May I?" A few moments later, Atem decided it was time to see his lover again. It was time to see him, take care of him from this common cold.

"Yeah, of course," Malik said, nudging Bakura. He nodded. No more words being said, they got out. Staring into each other's eyes for a while, Atem nor Yami made a movement to move, oh, how satisfying was it to stare into each other's orbs. They could do it all day if they wanted.

Hello everyone! I left it there seeing as I think that would be a great spot to end this chapter. I'm sort of thinking a bit through with the plot I have in plot. Okay, I'm dealing with having Owen and Jake teaming up. Or letting Jake or Owen do what coming up on their own. Either way, things will turn out wrong. Help me decide, please. Anyway, I hope you're having a nice day and I also hope you enjoyed the chapter. "The talk". No, not the birds and the bees, they know about it. Another talk.

See you in the next chapter?
